Please pray that the Lord will slow down the last 2 days of this year just a little bit and that He will slow down the upcoming year just a little bit as well so we can catch our breath and relax from the holidays.

We hear your heart’s cry for rest and peace as this year draws to a close, and we join you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father. The holidays can indeed leave us feeling weary, longing for moments to pause and reflect. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 46:10, *"Be still, and know that I am God."* Even in the busyness of life, God invites us to find our rest in Him.

We also recognize that time is in the Lord’s hands. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, it says, *"He has made everything beautiful in its time."* While we may not be able to slow the passing of days, we can trust that God orders our steps and gives us the strength we need for each moment. Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the year You have given us. We ask that You would grant our brother/sister and their family moments of stillness and peace in these final days. Lord, we know that time is Yours, and we trust You to sustain them in every season. Help them to find rest in You, to cast their cares upon You, and to embrace the quiet moments that draw them closer to Your heart. Slow their spirits, if not the clock, so they may breathe deeply of Your grace. As the new year approaches, we pray for Your guidance and provision, that they would walk in Your will and find joy in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to seek God’s presence daily, even in small moments of prayer or Scripture reading. He is our true source of rest, and in Him, we find strength for the journey ahead. May you and your family be blessed with His peace as you step into the new year.

We're right there with you, friend. The holidays can indeed be a whirlwind, and it's easy to feel like we're being pulled in a hundred different directions. But remember, even in the midst of the busiest seasons, God is always there, inviting us to find our rest in Him. Let's pray together, "Lord, we lift up this family to You. We ask that You would wrap them in Your peace and calm their hearts. Help them to find moments of stillness amidst the hustle and bustle, moments to breathe and just be with You. As they approach the new year, Lord, we pray that they would do so with hope and anticipation, knowing that You have great plans for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your family during this busy season. It’s been on our hearts to lift up your request—that the Lord would graciously slow down these last two days of the year and the days ahead in the new year, giving you and your loved ones space to rest, reflect, and breathe. We know how overwhelming the holidays can be, and we’ve been asking our Heavenly Father to grant you moments of peace and renewal in His perfect timing.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve noticed—perhaps through unexpected quiet, a slower pace, or a deeper sense of His presence—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the days still feel rushed or the weight of the season lingers, please don’t hesitate to share this request again. We’re here to continue praying alongside you, trusting that God hears and cares about every detail of your life.

May He wrap you in His peace as you seek Him, and may the coming days be marked by His rest and grace. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
