Our hearts break for this father who is walking through such deep pain and despair. The loss of his wife and the separation from his child have left him crushed, and the enemy is whispering lies of hopelessness, tempting him to believe that ending his life is the only way out. But we stand firmly on God’s Word, which declares that **suicide is not the answer**—it is a permanent solution to a temporary struggle, and it robs God of the chance to redeem this situation for His glory. The Lord sees this father’s suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We must lift him up in urgent prayer, pleading for God’s intervention, strength, and supernatural peace to flood his soul.

First, we must address the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and right now, he is attacking this man’s mind with despair. But **Jesus is the Overcomer**, and He has already won the victory. We command every spirit of depression, hopelessness, and suicide to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God says, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that this father **will not be destroyed** by this trial. Instead, the Lord will use it to draw him closer, to refine him, and to restore what has been broken.

To this father, we say: **You are not alone.** Even if you feel abandoned by those you love, God has not forsaken you. *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Your child needs you—not just physically, but as a father who walks in faith, strength, and the love of Christ. The pain you feel now is real, but it is not the end of your story. The Lord can turn this around. He can soften your wife’s heart, restore your family, and give you a testimony of His faithfulness. But you must **choose life** (Deuteronomy 30:19). You must fight for your child, for your future, and for the purpose God still has for you.

We also urge you to **seek godly counsel and support**. Isolation fuels despair, but community brings strength. Reach out to your pastor, a trusted brother in Christ, or a biblical counselor who can walk with you through this. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2). If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please call out to Jesus right now and ask Him to fill you with His peace. Then, take practical steps to get help—whether through a crisis hotline, a mentor, or your church family. You are **not** beyond hope.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious father who is drowning in sorrow. Lord, You see his tears, You hear his cries, and You know the depth of his pain. We ask You to **wrap him in Your arms** and remind him that he is loved, valued, and not forgotten. Break the chains of depression and despair that are binding him. Fill him with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide that is whispering lies to him. Satan has no authority here—**this man belongs to You**. Strengthen him, Lord, in his inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Give him the courage to face another day, to fight for his child, and to trust You with his future. Remind him that You are his Provider, his Healer, and his Redeemer.

Father, we pray for his wife’s heart. Soften it, Lord. If this separation is not Your will, then **restore this marriage**. Bring conviction where needed, humility where there is pride, and reconciliation where there is brokenness. Let her see the pain she has caused and be moved to return—not out of guilt, but out of a desire to honor You and rebuild this family. And if restoration is not Your plan, then give this father **wisdom, grace, and provision** to navigate this season as a godly single parent.

Lord, we ask for divine intervention in the legal and emotional battles he may face. Open doors for him to spend time with his child. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand in the gap for him, encourage him, and help bear his burdens.

Most of all, Father, **draw him closer to You**. Let this trial drive him to his knees, where he will find You faithful. Remind him that You are his ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give him a vision for the future—one where he walks in victory, raises his child in Your ways, and testifies of Your goodness.

We declare that **this story is not over**. You, Lord, are the God of restoration, of miracles, and of new beginnings. We trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even in this. Give this father **hope**, **strength**, and **a reason to keep fighting**.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**

---
To the one who submitted this request: Thank you for standing in the gap for this father. We encourage you to **continue praying fervently** and to reach out to him if possible. Remind him of God’s love and the hope we have in Christ. If he is open, share the Gospel with him—sometimes, our darkest moments are when we most need to surrender our lives fully to Jesus. And if you sense he is in immediate danger, **do not hesitate to get him professional or emergency help**. We are all part of the body of Christ, and we must act when one of our own is in crisis.

*"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* —Psalm 34:18 (WEB)

Then, take practical steps to get help - whether through a crisis hotline, a mentor, or your church family.

Remember, you're not beyond hope. God has a purpose for you, and He's not done with you yet. He's using this to shape you and to make you more like Him. Trust Him with your future. Trust Him with your child. Trust Him with your pain.

We're praying for you, brother. We're asking God to wrap you in His arms and remind you that you're loved, valued, and not forgotten. We're asking Him to fill you with His peace, to strengthen you, and to give you the courage to face another day. We're asking Him to soften your wife's heart, to restore your family if it's His will, and to give you wisdom, grace, and provision to navigate this season.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting this heavy burden before the Lord alongside you. These past days, we have continued to pray earnestly for this father—pleading for God’s comfort to surround him in his deep sorrow, for divine strength to uphold him in his weakness, and for the Holy Spirit to fill him with a peace that surpasses understanding. Our hearts ache with yours as we consider the pain of separation from his child and the crushing weight of despair he carries. Yet we cling to the promise that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We urge you, dear brother or sister, if there has been even the smallest glimmer of hope—a moment of relief, a word of encouragement, or a step toward reconciliation—please share it with us as a praise report so we may rejoice with you and give thanks to the Lord. If the darkness still feels overwhelming and the battle continues, do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to persist in prayer with you, to remind this father that he is not forgotten by God or by his brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us keep crying out for his restoration, for wisdom in navigating this trial, and for the Lord to move mightily in his heart and in the heart of his wife.

We also pray for you, the one carrying this request, that God would sustain *your* faith as you intercede. May He grant you words of truth and comfort to share, and may you be filled with the assurance that our prayers are not in vain. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He is faithful.

Let us continue to seek Him together, trusting that He who began this good work will carry it to completion. We stand with you in faith, believing that what is impossible with man is possible with God. May His grace and mercy flood this situation, and may this father encounter the love of Christ in a way that transforms his despair into hope. We pray all of this in Jesus’ name.
