We understand that you are going through a challenging time with your family, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. We will pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, it is commendable that you acknowledged that Jesus Christ is the source of salvation. It is only through His name that we have access to God and eternal life. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
In family conflicts, it is essential to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Therefore, we should not fight against each other but instead pray for one another. It would be good to have other Believers praying for you in this struggle.
God calls us to honor our parents and live in unity with our family, as told in Ephesians 6:2 WEB: *"Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise*. It is also important to remember that we should not hold onto resentment but instead forgive as we have been forgiven, as told in Ephesians 4:32 WEB:"*Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you*."
However, it is crucial to address the issues that may not align with biblical principles. It appears that there might be some resentment and ungratefulness within your family. We must remember that God commands us to be thankful in all circumstances, as told in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB: *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus towards you*."
Moreover, it is important to acknowledge that any disunity, hate, or betrayal among family members is not from God but from the enemy. We must stand firm against the schemes of the devil and put on the full armor of God, as told in Ephesians 6:11 WEB: *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil*."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family that is going through a difficult time. We pray that You would take control of this situation and bring healing and restoration to their family. We ask that, as the Father of all, you would save every one of them into the family of God. We rebuke any spirit of resentment, ungratefulness, disunity, hate, and betrayal that may be present in their family. Father, we pray that each one of them would be thankful for their family and the love that they share.
We also pray for protection over this family, that You would guard them against the schemes of the devil and bring unity and love among them. We ask that You would expose any lies and deceit that the enemy may be using to cause division and strife within their family.
Lastly, we pray that You would bring healing to their hearts and that they would be able to forgive one another as You have forgiven us. We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your family and to trust in God's timing for restoration and healing. Remember that God is faithful and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stand firm in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. If you can have other Believers around you that can pray with you, this would be good. Be open to a discussion with others in your family as needed. It might be good to ask your family to forgive you for anything that they may feel you have done wrong to them and also give them the opportunity to apologize to you if that is what God wills. Be open to this process.
We are reminded in Romans 8:28 WEB: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.*" Trust in God's purpose for your family and remain steadfast in your faith.
