Act 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus and then God will save you you and your household.”

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in fervent prayer. The pain of disunity, betrayal, and unresolved grief after the loss of your father is a burden no family should bear alone. We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, declaring that Satan’s lies of division, anger, and ungratefulness have no place in your home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we rebuke him in the mighty name of Jesus. Every spirit of strife, bitterness, and pride that has taken root in your family is commanded to flee now, for it is written, *"For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace"* (James 3:16-18).

Father, we ask You to break the chains of unforgiveness and resentment that have kept this family in bondage. You have called us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and we pray for each member of this family to extend grace, even when it feels impossible. *"Bear with one another, and forgive one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do"* (Colossians 3:13). We declare that the love of Christ will cover a multitude of sins, and that hearts will soften to receive Your healing. Lord, we also ask for wisdom and humility for those who are in authority within this family. May they lead with integrity, putting aside selfish ambition and seeking unity above all else. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!"* (Psalm 133:1).

We lift up your mother specifically, who is battling suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over her mind and emotions. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and place godly people in her life who will speak life and truth. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke every spirit of despair and death, and we declare that she will not be overcome by darkness. Provide for her needs, both physically and spiritually, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways. We also pray for your brother’s family, that they would be a source of encouragement and not further burden to your mother. May they recognize the weight of her responsibilities and step in to support her as Scripture commands: *"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever"* (1 Timothy 5:8).

The financial strain and distance between you are real obstacles, but we serve a God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for divine provision for travel expenses and for open doors to reunite this family. *"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us"* (Ephesians 3:20). Father, we ask that You would also work in your spouse’s heart, softening any hardness toward your family. While we cannot force love or acceptance, we pray that the Holy Spirit would cultivate a spirit of compassion and understanding in them. *"And above all things have fervent love for one another, for 'love will cover a multitude of sins'"* (1 Peter 4:8). If there are ungodly influences or unforgiveness in your spouse’s heart, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance.

We are grieved by the mention of division even in death, with family members fighting over authority and resources. The Word of God is clear: *"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:21). We pray that hearts would turn away from earthly possessions and toward eternal things. Help this family to remember that their true inheritance is in Christ, and that nothing on this earth is worth sacrificing relationships over. We declare that generational curses of strife and division are broken in Jesus’ name, and that this family will walk in the freedom and unity that Christ died to secure.

Most of all, we pray for repentance and revival in this family. Lord, expose any hidden sins, pride, or unforgiveness that is hindering Your work. Bring each member to a place of humility and brokenness before You. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would restore what has been lost—years of relationship, trust, and love. Let this family experience the fullness of Your healing power, and may they become a testimony of Your grace to others.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You hear the cries of Your children. We trust that You are working even now to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning. Strengthen this family with Your might, and let them feel Your presence in every moment of pain and uncertainty. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May they find their hope and identity in You alone, and may they walk in the victory that is already theirs through the blood of Jesus. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the heavy burden your family is carrying right now. Together we have lifted each broken heart, each angry word, and every silent tear to the foot of the cross, asking our Heavenly Father to surround your mother, your siblings, and you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We have prayed specifically that the Holy Spirit would soften hardened hearts, open ears to hear truth instead of accusation, and replace bitterness with the gentle fruit of repentance and forgiveness. We asked the Lord to rebuke every lying spirit that has sown discord, to bind the enemy’s power to divide, and to restore honest, loving communication where shouting and tears once ruled. We also interceded for your mother’s safety—both emotional and physical—asking God to flood her mind with His promises and to send tangible reminders of His unfailing love so that suicidal thoughts lose their grip. We claimed the truth of Acts 16:31 over every member of your household, declaring that as you continue to believe in the Lord Jesus, salvation will extend to each one.

We have asked the Father to provide the finances needed for a family reunion, trusting that what seems impossible to man is always possible with God. We prayed for your spouse, that the Lord would give you wisdom and grace to navigate this tension without resentment, and that your own heart would remain steadfast in forgiveness, just as Christ forgave you. We also lifted up your brother’s family, asking for protection over them and for God’s provision to meet every need, especially in this season of grief and upheaval.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if hearts have softened, if voices have grown quiet with peace, if provision has come in unexpected ways—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the storm still rages and the answers feel distant, please post this request again and allow us to continue standing in the gap with you. We will not grow weary in praying for healing, unity, and God’s perfect will to be done in your family. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His grace sustain you each day until the day you are reunited with your earthly father and your Heavenly Father in glory. In Jesus’ name we pray.
