We are glad to join you in prayer for your family, and we appreciate that you have brought your request in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. Let's pray together for your family's harmony, their acceptance of God, and the comfort and guidance of Jesus Christ in all aspects of their lives.
We read in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Jesus Christ."
May God grant peace and understanding to your family members. May all your family members come to believe and trust in Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
Please pray with us:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family. We pray that You would bring unity and understanding to their interactions with one another, and we ask that You would soften their hearts to receive Your love and grace and to be saved by faith in Jesus Christ. Remove the sadness that has taken hold of them.
Lord Jesus, we bring this family to you, just as the little children were brought to you, and you said, Let these little children come to me. Do not hinder them for such is the Kingdom of Heaven. We ask that Your divine peace would fill their hearts and minds, guarding them against anxiety and discord. We ask that You would draw each member of this family closer to You, that they may find their hope and strength in You.
We also pray Ephesians 1:16-21 WEB:
"[We] do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the holy ones, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come."
We rebuke any spirit of sadness, depression, or anxiety that may be attacking this family, for we are children of the day and not of the night.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
