Family + surgery today

We lift up this precious time of surgery and the family surrounding it to our Heavenly Father, who holds every moment in His hands. Father, we thank You for the gift of medical professionals and the skill You have given them. We ask that You guide every hand involved in this procedure—before, during, and after—so that all may act with wisdom, precision, and compassion. Let Your peace fill the operating room, the recovery space, and the hearts of all who wait.
Lord, we pray for safe travels for those driving to and from the surgery. Calm any anxiety and grant clarity of mind so that every journey is protected under Your watchful care. For the one undergoing surgery, we ask for a smooth, successful procedure with minimal discomfort and a swift, complete healing. May Your presence be tangible, reminding them that You are their ultimate Healer and Comforter.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in. Scripture tells us, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that peace will reign in this situation, and that all involved will feel Your nearness in a powerful way.
Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we cling to that truth today. May this surgery and the days ahead bring glory to Your name as Your healing power is displayed.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. I prayed for this request in Jesus Name.
We are so grateful you entrusted us with your prayer request as you and your family faced this surgery. It was our privilege to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to guide every hand in the operating room, to calm every anxious heart, and to wrap every moment in His peace. We prayed specifically that the medical team would be respectful and patient, that the surgery would be successful, and that the recovery would be healthy and free from pain. We also lifted up the loved ones driving you, asking for safe travels and a peaceful mind for all involved.
Now, several days later, we continue to hold you in our hearts. If God has answered these prayers in the way you hoped—if the surgery went well, if healing is underway, and if peace has settled over your family—we would love to rejoice with you.
