“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household. Act 16:31

We lift your family before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and the restorer of broken relationships. Your heartache is deep, and we grieve with you over the disunity, betrayal, and anger that have torn your family apart. Yet we take heart in knowing that nothing is impossible with God, and He can heal even the deepest wounds when we surrender to His will.

First, we commend you for your spirit of forgiveness, echoing the words of Christ on the cross: *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34). This is a powerful testimony of God’s grace working in you. However, forgiveness does not mean enabling sinful behavior. While you forgive, you must also speak truth in love, calling your family to repentance. The strife among you is not of God, for *"the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls"* (Proverbs 11:30). The fighting over authority, ingratitude, and toxic words are tools of the enemy to destroy what God intends for good. We rebuke this spirit of division in the name of Jesus Christ, declaring that *"God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33). The anger, shouting, and bitterness must cease, for *"the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (James 1:20). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict each heart, softening them to turn from pride and selfishness.

Your mother’s suffering is especially heavy on our hearts. Suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue are signs of a spirit crushed by despair, and we stand against this in Jesus’ name. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We pray that God would surround her with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that He would place godly people in her life to speak life and truth over her. The burden of responsibility she carries for your brother’s family is not hers to bear alone—we pray she would cast her cares upon the Lord, for *"he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). May she find rest in Him and be delivered from the negative environment that weighs her down.

We also address the tension between you and your spouse regarding your family. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and while it is painful that your spouse does not share your heart for reconciliation, we pray for unity between you both. *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:22, 25). This does not mean you abandon your family, but it does mean seeking wisdom on how to honor both your marriage and your call to love your family well. Pray together with your spouse, asking God to align your hearts and show you how to extend grace without enabling dysfunction.

As for the financial strain keeping you apart, we declare that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). If it is His will for you to reunite, He will provide the means. But even if the distance remains, He can still work mightily in each heart. Trust that His timing is perfect, and use this season to pray fervently, standing in the gap for your family as Moses did for Israel.

Finally, we rejoice that you have placed your hope in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Your faith in Him is the anchor for your soul, and we pray that every member of your family would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household"* (Acts 16:31). This is our prayer for them—that they would turn from their disobedience and surrender to His lordship.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this family that is torn by division, anger, and pain. Lord, You see the depths of their suffering—the betrayal, the shouting, the ungratefulness, and the suicidal thoughts that plague our sister’s mother. We ask for Your healing touch to restore what has been broken. Convict each heart of sin, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Soften their pride and replace their anger with Your peace. Break the chains of bitterness and bind the spirit of division in Jesus’ name.

Father, we pray especially for our sister’s mother. Lift the heaviness of despair from her and fill her with Your hope. Guard her tongue, Lord, and let her words be seasoned with grace. Provide for her needs and give her strength to carry only what You have called her to bear. Surround her with Your presence and remind her that she is not alone.

Lord, we ask for wisdom for our sister and her spouse as they navigate this difficult season. Unify their marriage and show them how to love each other and their family in a way that honors You. If it is Your will, provide the means for reconciliation and reunion. But even if the distance remains, let Your Spirit move mightily in each heart.

We declare Your provision over their finances, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust You in this season, knowing that You are working all things for their good.

Most of all, Father, we pray for salvation for every member of this family. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus Christ. Let this trial drive them to their knees, where they will find mercy and grace in their time of need. May they turn from their sin and place their faith in You alone.

We thank You, Lord, that You are the God who redeems and restores. We trust You with this family, believing that You will bring beauty from these ashes. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Dear family in need, we're here with you, lifting your heavy hearts before the Lord. Your family's disunity and pain weighs on us, and we're reminded of Jesus' words, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We claim this promise over your family today.

We're grateful for your spirit of forgiveness, but remember, forgiveness doesn't mean enabling sin. We pray for wisdom as you navigate this delicate balance. The strife among you is not of God, but a tool of the enemy to destroy what God intends for good. We rebuke this spirit of division in Jesus' name, declaring that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).

Your mother's suffering is especially heavy on our hearts. We stand against the spirit of despair that crushes her, praying that God would surround her with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that He would place godly people in her life to speak life and truth over her. May she find rest in Him and be delivered from the negative environment that weighs her down.

We also pray for unity between you and your spouse. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and while it's painful that your spouse doesn't share your heart for reconciliation, we pray for unity between you both. We ask God to align your hearts and show you how to extend grace without enabling dysfunction.

As for the financial strain, we declare that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). If it's His will for you to reunite, He will provide the means. But even if the distance remains, He can still work mightily in each heart. Trust in His timing.

Finally, we rejoice that you've placed your hope in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We pray that every member of your family would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. This is our prayer for them, that they would turn from their disobedience and surrender to His lordship.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us to lift your family before the Lord in these difficult days. The weight of disunity, grief, and unresolved conflict is heavy, and we know how deeply you long for healing—not just in relationships, but in the hearts of those you love. It is our privilege to stand with you in prayer, crying out for God’s mercy to break through the anger, sadness, and bitterness that have taken root since your father’s passing. We have been interceding for your mother’s protection from suicidal thoughts, for your brothers’ repentance, and for God’s provision to make a way where there seems to be no way—whether through reconciliation, financial breakthrough, or His perfect peace in the waiting.

If the Lord has begun to move in any area—whether through softened hearts, restored communication, or even small moments of grace—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Sometimes His answers come in ways we don’t expect, and your testimony could encourage others who are walking through similar valleys. But if the burden still feels overwhelming, if the silence or distance remains, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We will continue to contend with you for breakthrough, trusting that God is faithful to redeem what is broken, even when we cannot yet see it.

We are also praying for you personally—for strength as you forgive daily, for wisdom as you navigate complex relationships, and for the Lord to meet your financial needs in ways that surpass human limitation. You are not forgotten, and neither is your family. The enemy may seek to divide, but our God is mighty to restore. May He surround each of you with His presence, bind up wounds with His love, and make a way for reunion—whether in this life or the one to come, where all tears will be wiped away.

We are holding fast to the promise that what is impossible with man is possible with God. Keep seeking Him, dear brother or sister. He sees your tears, hears your cries, and will not abandon the work He has begun. Praying for you in Jesus’ name.
