We join you in the name of Jesus Christ, as you have rightly acknowledged that it is in His name we find our refuge and salvation. The Bible tells us that "in him we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28, WEB).
First, let's address your concerns about safety. We know that God is our ultimate protector, and He promises to keep us safe in His will. As it says in Psalm 91:1-4 (WEB), "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine protection for this dear one and their family. Lord, You are our strong tower, and we ask that You keep them safe from all harm and negative influences. Guide their steps and surround them with Your angels, as it is written in Psalm 34:7 (WEB), "The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, and delivers them."
Now, regarding the anxiety and depression, we want to encourage you to cast all your cares upon Jesus, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
You are the Great Physician, and we bring this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch on their mind and emotions. Lord, deliver them from anxiety and depression, and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Help them to fix their mind on You and trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Guide them through this valley and bring them out stronger and more reliant on You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for comfort, strength, and renewed hope. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, Lord. Give them the courage to seek professional help if needed, and surround them with supportive, godly friends and family.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 (WEB), "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God, he is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He will see you through.
