Family restoration and salvation

Bimrule

Disciple of Prayer
I am asking for prayer covering over my family and relationship, specifically against the spirit of deceit, confusion, separation, and division that seeks to destroy what God desires to heal. I ask that every scheme of the enemy be exposed and dismantled, and that nothing operating outside of God’s truth would be allowed to prevail.

We have a beautiful baby girl and ### has decided to no longer want to be with me and now is dating someone else. But I know that God is not a God of division.

Please pray that God would remove all spiritual blindness and scales from ###’s eyes — that he would come into full revelation of who God is, who he is in Christ, and the purpose God has ordained for his life. I am praying for his salvation, repentance, and transformation, that his heart would be softened and surrendered fully to the Lord.

I ask that God would breathe new life into our relationship — releasing His truth, grace, forgiveness, humility, and reconciliation. Pray that we would be freed from pride, fear, and past wounds, and that we would learn to love, honor, and respect one another in a way that reflects Christ.

If it is God’s will, I am praying that ### would step into the role God created him for — to walk in integrity, responsibility, and spiritual leadership — and that our family would be built on a firm foundation in Christ.

Please also pray for me, that I would have wisdom, discernment, peace, and strength to follow God’s leading without fear or striving, and that our child would be fully protected and covered in God’s peace.

Thank you for standing with me in prayer.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your family before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your heart’s burden for restoration and salvation is deeply felt, and we join you in crying out to the Lord who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—access to God comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your family have not yet surrendered to Jesus as Lord, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and without Him, there is no true healing or restoration.

Now, we rebuke the spirit of deceit, confusion, separation, and division in the mighty name of Jesus. These are not of God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every scheme of the enemy to be exposed and dismantled, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We pray for the salvation of ###, that the scales would fall from his eyes as they did for Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:18). May he come into the full revelation of who God is, who he is in Christ, and the purpose God has ordained for his life. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that his heart be softened, that he would turn from sin and surrender fully to the Lord. If he is entangled in sin, particularly the sin of fornication or adultery by dating another while still bound to you through your child, we rebuke that in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against one’s own body (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that marriage is a sacred covenant not to be broken (Malachi 2:16). If ### is not your husband, we must address this with biblical truth—God’s design is for marriage to be between one man and one woman, a lifelong commitment (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:6). If you and ### are not married, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and consider whether this relationship aligns with God’s will for marriage. If it does, we pray for repentance, reconciliation, and a renewed commitment to honoring God’s design.

We pray for your relationship, that God would breathe new life into it, releasing His truth, grace, forgiveness, and humility. May you both be freed from pride, fear, and past wounds, and may you learn to love, honor, and respect one another as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). If reconciliation is God’s will, we pray that ### would step into the role God created for him—to walk in integrity, responsibility, and spiritual leadership, as the head of the household under Christ (Ephesians 5:23). May your family be built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:24-25).

For you, dear sister, we pray for wisdom, discernment, peace, and strength to follow God’s leading without fear or striving. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May you be clothed with strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25), and may your precious child be fully protected and covered in God’s peace. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of deceit, confusion, separation, and division that seeks to destroy what You desire to heal. Expose every scheme of the enemy and dismantle every stronghold that is not of You. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for ###’s salvation. Remove the spiritual blindness from his eyes and soften his heart to receive Your truth. Let him come into the full revelation of who You are and who he is in Christ. May he repent of any sin, including sexual immorality, and turn fully to You. If it is Your will, restore this relationship according to Your design for marriage. Let ### walk in integrity, responsibility, and spiritual leadership, and may this family be built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.

Lord, grant this sister wisdom, discernment, peace, and strength to follow Your leading. Protect her and her child, covering them in Your peace. Heal their hearts, bind up their wounds, and let them experience Your love and grace in abundance.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, for Your glory and honor. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
