Your heartfelt prayer for protection over your family has been heard, and the burden you carry for your children is understood. The exhaustion, division and chaos you describe are heavy, and it is right to bring them before the Lord who is our refuge and strength. He sees the disrespect, the manipulation and the hurt that has come into your home, and He hears your cry for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and the hearts of your children in Christ Jesus.

We join you in pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children and asking for His protection. We pray that God would surround your home with His presence, that He would clothe you in the full armor He has provided, and that He would guard your minds and hearts from every scheme that seeks to divide and isolate. As you have prayed, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and the Lord Himself fights for you. We pray not only for deliverance from evil but for the good that Christ alone supplies, that you and your children would know more deeply your adoption as sons and daughters through faith in Him, and that His Spirit would fill every room of your home with light and remove all darkness.

For your older daughter we pray with special urgency and compassion. You have spoken the truth with love when you said that living together outside of marriage is not marriage. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual union and shared life as husband and wife belong within that covenant alone. To treat this cohabitation as if it were marriage opens the door to deception, spiritual bondage and financial exploitation, as you have painfully witnessed. We will not ask God to bless what He has not ordained, but we do ask Him with you to open her eyes to the truth, to remove the false sense of obligation and commitment that binds her, and to show her that this young man is not her husband, not her covering, and not one to whom she owes obedience. We pray that God would gently break this stubborn hold, restore her gracious and humble spirit, and draw her back to putting Christ first, honoring her parents, being grateful for the work God has given her, and returning to the church family where she was raised in the faith. As Christ said to the woman who came in faith, be of good cheer, thy faith hath made thee whole, so we pray that her faith would be renewed and made strong, and that through faith she would find wholeness again. We thank God with you for the purposeful promotion He has granted her and pray she will steward it with wisdom and clarity, free from undue burdens that are not hers to bear.

We also pray concerning the influence of this young man and his mother. It is painful when counsel that is not godly is presented as wisdom, and when a mother is mocked for praying for her children. We pray that the Lord would frustrate every plan that seeks to divide your family, to set sibling against sibling, and to sow jealousy and disrespect. We pray that He would block ungodly counsel that encourages living together or having children before marriage, and that He would expose motives rooted in pride and selfishness. We pray also for mercy for this young man and his mother, that they too would come to know the truth of the gospel and be turned from manipulation to repentance, for God desires all to be saved through Jesus Christ alone.

For your younger daughter we pray for a hedge of protection over her studies, her health and her faith. We ask that the Lord would keep her steadfast, surround her with godly friendships and mentors who encourage her in the ways of the Lord, and keep her from being swayed by an example that departs from biblical teaching. May she continue to honor her parents and remain thankful for the family God has given her, and may she in due time, if the Lord wills marriage for her, seek not wealth or status but a husband who is gentle, faithful and fears God, for such piety brings true joy and peace in a home.

For your beloved son we pray that the Lord would shine His bright light into every dark space, grant him peace that surpasses understanding, and help him to feel deeply loved, included and protected. His life is precious and valuable before God. We rebuke every word of hatred, mockery and exclusion directed toward him and declare his dignity as one created and loved by God. We pray for continued progress, for wisdom for you and for his caregivers and doctors, and for the restoration of the loving relationship he shared with his sister.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer with a considerate and watchful mind. Signs and wonders alone do not change the heart, but faith and perseverance do. Continue to commit your daughter and your whole family into the hands of Christ, beseeching Him daily as Abraham's servant did when seeking what was right. Do not grow weary in doing good, and do not let worry wear you down, for God is able to restore what has been stolen and to mend what has been torn.

Father in heaven, we lift this mother and her children to You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Cover them with Your protection, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, grant them safe travel and make them a beacon of Your light wherever they go. Restore unity, joy and fellowship in this family, heal what has been wounded, and guide each child into the freedom and wisdom found only in following You. Break every chain of control and false obligation, and lead this family in righteousness for Your glory. Amen.

Your love for your children and your deep desire to see them walk in the truth comes through so clearly in your prayer, and the long weariness you have carried is not overlooked by the Lord.

Scripture teaches that the Lord Himself places a hedge of protection around His own and gives His angels charge over them. Without that covering the enemy would have unhindered access, but with it we are kept. That is the protection you are right to ask for, not as a formula but as confidence in what God has promised to do for those who belong to Him through Jesus Christ. You can continue to ask Him to guard your home, your children, your coming and going, and to clothe you all in the full armor He provides, so that schemes to bring exhaustion, division, isolation and chaos do not prosper. As you quoted, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding can guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

For your older daughter, you see with painful clarity what living outside of God's design has done. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that living together and sharing the intimacies and responsibilities of marriage outside of that covenant is not marriage at all. It does not carry the commitment, the protection, or the blessing that God intends for marriage, and it often opens the door to deception, financial strain, manipulation and spiritual bondage, just as you have described. The sense of obligation she feels to this young man and his family is not a covenant before God. She is not his wife, and she does not owe him a wife's duties, nor does she owe his mother the honor and obedience that belongs to her own parents. It is right to pray that her eyes would be opened, that the stubborn hold would be broken, and that she would again put the Lord first, honor her parents, and value the faith in which she was raised and the purposeful work God has given her. Pray that she would see that she has a supportive family, that she is not without a home or without help, and that she does not need to change her faith or leave her church family to gain acceptance from others.

The example of Lot is a sobering reminder that even a person who knows God can be worn down by remaining in a corrupt and ungodly environment, and the cost is often seen most clearly in the family and in the morals of the children. Your prayer for your daughter to be drawn out of that environment and back to a place of safety, stability and wisdom is a loving and biblical prayer. In the same way, when God called Jacob to return to the land of his fathers and to his family, He added the promise, I will be with you and I will deal well with you. There is a blessing in returning to the place of family and to the God of that family. You can pray with that same hope, that the Lord would gently lead your daughter back to Himself and to the fellowship of her family, not with shame but with freedom, peace and restoration, and with a renewed hunger for righteousness.

For this young man and his mother, it is right to ask God to frustrate every divisive and controlling plan and to block influence that encourages disrespect, jealousy and ungodly counsel such as living together or having children before marriage. They have no parental authority over your daughter. At the same time, pray that any pride, manipulation and selfish motives would be exposed for what they are, and that they too would come to see the truth. The Lord is the one who fights for you, and you can leave both justice and mercy in His hands.

For your younger daughter, continue to pray for that same hedge of protection over her studies, her health and her faith. Ask that she would be surrounded by godly friendships and mentors who encourage her to remain humble, thankful and steadfast, and that she would never come to see living together outside of marriage as an acceptable path. Pray that she would seek the Lord's direction for a future spouse who honors Christ and values the sanctity of marriage, and that she would not be drawn into division with her siblings.

For your son, the Lord sees his value and His love for him is not diminished. He is not a burden or an embarrassment but a blessing, made in God's image and deeply loved. Pray that the Lord would anoint your home and saturate your son with peace and joy, that he would know he is included, accepted and protected, and that his ability to express his needs in a calm and godly way would continue to grow. Pray for wisdom for you, for caregivers and for all who help bring out the best in him, and for the restoration of the sweet relationship he once shared with his sister.

For yourself, ask the Lord for renewed strength, wisdom and discernment, and for His provision for your home so that you may continue to be a blessing to others. He knows the financial burden you have carried and the hurt of seeing disrespect directed toward you and toward your parenting and your prayers. He also hears your prayer for godly husbands for your daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church and lead them in righteousness.

May the Lord frustrate every plan meant to divide and isolate your family, may He cover you with the blood of Christ, fill you with the Holy Spirit, and let your home be a place of light. May He heal what has been wounded, mend what has been torn, and restore what has been lost, and may you and your family be a beacon of His grace wherever you go. We join you in asking all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, who alone is our Redeemer and covering.
