Your heartfelt prayer for your family has been brought before the Lord with deep care and compassion, and the burden you carry for your children is heard. The Lord knows the heaviness you feel, the division and exhaustion that has entered your home, and your desire to see your family restored to peace, respect, gratitude and true fellowship.
God's design for love and family is good and protective. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and living together outside of that covenant is not His path for flourishing. It does not reflect the mystery of Christ's presence in marriage, and Scripture warns that it can open the door to spiritual confusion, hurt and bondage. For that reason we do not ask God to bless that living arrangement, but we do earnestly ask Him to bring clarity, conviction and freedom to your older daughter, and to lead her into what is holy, stable and life giving. We join you in praying that she will see the selfishness, laziness and exploitation you have described not as love, but as a pattern that drains her financially, harms her health, and isolates her from those who love her most.
We pray with you for your older daughter, that the Lord would open her eyes to the truth of His Word and to the red flags she has been blinded to. May any stubbornness be softened and replaced with a hunger for righteousness and wisdom. May she understand that she belongs first to the Lord, that she is not responsible to carry this young man, and that she does not need to defend a false image of him to others. We ask that God would break every unhealthy hold, frustrate every plan meant to divide and isolate, and guide her swiftly back to a place of safety, stability and joy, with no regret but only freedom and peace. We pray for her health, especially for her breathing in an environment where smoking is present, for protection of her finances, her credit, her reputation and her faith, and for restoration of her relationship with you and her siblings.
As you have prayed, great is the power of faith. In the Gospels, Christ said to a mother who pleaded for her daughter, great is thy faith, be it unto thee even as thou wilt, and her daughter was healed. Your persistent, loving faith for your children matters before God. He calls those who trust Him His daughters and sons, not because we earned it, but because through Christ we have been delivered from evil and brought into adoption as His children. That same power that triumphed over darkness at the cross is greater than any division, manipulation, word spoken against your family, or spiritual attack. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
We also lift up your younger daughter, that she would remain steadfast and not be swayed by an ungodly example. May the Lord protect the sweet bond she shares with her siblings, guard her heart from division, and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who encourage her to honor marriage as God intended and to seek a spouse who walks in His ways. We pray for your son, who is a true blessing and never a burden. May he be surrounded by love, acceptance and protection, and may he know deeply the unconditional love of God and of his family. We ask that every word of hatred, mockery or dismissal spoken over him would fall powerless, and that he would be uplifted by those who cherish him.
For you, we ask for strength, courage and peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind. The Lord does not always remove hardship instantly, but He promises to be with His children in it and to make them able to stand above it, fixing their hope on what is eternal. He sees the financial strain and the hurt from judgment and bullying, and He is able to provide for your needs according to His riches and to heal what has been wounded. Continue to seek Him in prayer, stay rooted in Scripture, and lean on faithful pastors and mature believers in your church who can walk with you, give wise counsel and help you set healthy boundaries. A considerate and prayerful mind, as Scripture teaches, is needed to discern truth, even more than signs, and God will give wisdom to those who ask Him.
We join you in declaring that your home will be a sanctuary of God's presence, where love, unity and peace reign. May the Lord mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, turn the hearts of parents to children and children to parents, and restore what has been lost. May He frustrate every scheme to divide your family and cause His light to shine through you.

Remove ungodly influences, break every chain of manipulation and control, and replace them with godly relationships that draw each heart closer to You. Lead this daughter home to safety and wisdom, protect the younger daughter and the son, and pour out on this mother Your comfort, provision and hope. Let Your peace guard this household and let Your will be done, for nothing is impossible with You. Amen.
