Family Protection

Beloved Warrior
Jesus, I'm lifting up my family before the throne of grace, where our Lord hears the cries of His children. My heart is heavy with concern, and I am pleading the precious blood of Jesus over every member of my household. Lord, I ask for complete restoration, respect, gratefulness and fellowship in my family and for all negative influences and spiritual attacks to be permanently removed forever. No weapon formed against me and my family shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Father, I come before You with hearts grieved by the spiritual warfare raging against me and my family. Lord, it is overwhelming and I ask that You completely remove this young man and his mother from my older daughter's life. I rebuke every spirit of division, manipulation, control, isolation, exhaustion, hate, word curse, isolation, division, ungratefulness and witchcraft that has sought to infiltrate my home. I plead Jesus for You to remove this young man and his mother completely for my older daughter's life swiftly as they are trying to divide me and my younger now by trying to get my younger daughter to live with them. These people have caused exhaustion, financial hardship in my older daughter's life and havoc in our family. Lord I ask for every generational curse, word curse, witchcraft and negative influence to break and flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Guide my older daughter to release this man from her life, let her not ignore the destruction, financial hardship, worthlessness and exhaustion he has caused in her life and to be truthful to the disrespect, isolation, division he has caused in her life. The blood of Jesus has already overcome every power of darkness, and I stand on that victory (Colossians 2:15). I declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard the hearts and minds of my family forever(Philippians 4:7). Lord, I am deeply concern for my older daughter, who is entangled in an ungodly relationship that dishonors You. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage, and it has opens the door to spiritual bondage and deception (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Jesus, give clarity to my older daughter that this man is selfish and he is not ready for a relationship, he is not her significant other, he is not her responsibility to take care of, she does not belong to him. She belong to You, Lord. I ask Lord that You guide her back home swiftly with no regret only a feeling of freedom, safe, joy, and satisfaction. I pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the red flags she has been blinded to. Remove the stubbornness that has taken root in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness and the want to move back. Break the hold this man and his family have over her, and reveal to her the toxicity and exploitation of this relationship. Father, I ask that You would frustrate every plan, plot, or scheme of these people to isolate, divide, and destroy my daughter from our family and turn her heart back to You and to those who love her unconditionally (Malachi 4:6). Lord, open my older daughter's heart and mind. Remind her of the value she was raised with and the love of our family. Jesus, remove all pride, shame, or pressure that keeps her from seeing the truth. Guide her away, Lord, from this living in situations that will harm her future and her purpose. Jesus, lead her away from this ungodly living arrangement, and bring her back home to safety, stability, and wisdom. Jesus, guide her to never obey this man and put him and his family before her faith, her parent, her siblings, and extended families. This young man and his mother's behavior to cause division, isolation, chaos and strife has been manifesting, and I ask Lord for Your divine protection, courage, and strength to keep our fellowship and bond as a family. Jesus, guide my daughter to stop taking on undue responsibilities to take care of this man, let her see he is not ready for a marriage. Give her the wisdom to stop defending and giving a false image of him to others. He is heartless toward her and is a very selfish, lazy, dishonest and rebellious man. Please Lord, save her and have mercy upon her, get her out of this toxic relationship with this man swiftly. Lord, frustrate all his plans right now. I also lift up my younger daughter, praying that she would remain steadfast in her faith and not be swayed by the ungodly example set before her. Protect her heart as this man and his mother damage the sweetest bond she has with her older sister and brother. Protect her from the divisive tactics of this man and his mother, and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her in the ways of the Lord. May she never see living together outside of marriage as an acceptable path, but instead, may she seek a spouse who honors You and values the sanctity of marriage (2 Corinthians 6:14). Jesus, I ask for Your protection over and around her from this man and his mother and strengthen our family's fellowship and unity. Father, I pray for my son with disabilities, that he would be surrounded by love, acceptance, and protection. May he never feel like a burden or an embarrassment, but rather a blessing, as he truly is. Protect him from the hatred, mockery, isolation, divisiveness, exclusion, word curses and witchcraft that stem from this young man's mother and any other negative influences. I rebuke all spiritual attacks, Lord I ask that You command them to flee and never return to torment him. Saturate him with Your peace and protection always. Strengthen his relationship with me, his sisters, caregivers and our extended families. Remove from his life any friendships or influences that look down on him, and replace them with those who will uplift and cherish him. Bless him with peace, joy, love, satisfaction, and the knowledge of Your unconditional love for him. Jesus, protect him from the hateful and demeaning way this young man's mother looks at him. Block all her word curses upon his life. I declare that my home will be a sanctuary of God’s presence, where love, unity, and peace reign. I pray for the restoration of the relationships that have been strained and broken by the enemy’s schemes. Father, mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, and restore what has been lost. May my family be a beacon of Your light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in You. Restore our peace, unconditional love, joy and happiness again. Lord, I ask for financial blessings to flow into my home, not for selfish gain, but so that my family may be a blessing to others and a testimony of Your provision. I rebuke every spirit of lack and poverty, and I declare that my family will walk in the abundance of Your blessings (Philippians 4:19). I pray for godly spouses for both of my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, who will lead them in righteousness, and who will honor the covenant of marriage as You intended (Ephesians 5:25) someone who will respect their upbringings. May my daughter seek husbands who walk in Your ways, rather than being drawn to those who would lead them astray. Father, I ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Remove the ungodly influences from my family’s life, and replace them with godly mentors, friendships, and relationships that will draw us closer to You. I pray for the complete restoration of my older daughter’s heart, that she would turn away from this toxic relationship and return to the safety and love of her family, swiftly. May she rediscover her worth in You and reject the lies that have been spoken over her. Jesus, guard her future. Protect her credit, her finances, her relationship with me, her siblings, family, her faith, and her reputation so that nothing done in this toxic relationship will cause resentment/hate toward our supportive family and destroy what she has worked so hard to build. Father, I also bring this young man's mother before You. She is acting like my daughter's mother and interfering in ways that harm my daughter, please stop that ungodly selfish influence. She encourages my daughter to take care of her son because she does not want to deal with his rebellious behavior. I pray that You correct this situation. Lead this young man's mother to take of her responsibility for guiding and correcting her own son rather than placing that burden and undue responsibilities on my daughter which place financial hardship on her and our family because we have to help her. My daughter has incurred a lot of debt since she moved in with this young man which was initiated by this young man's mother. Lord, remove all the pride, manipulation, look down upon, and harmful words that make my daughter feel small, ashamed, or feel that my daughter has to play as if she has to be dependent on them or put our family down to make his mother feel good about guiding her. Jesus, teach this mother that my daughter is not homeless and that she has a supportive family and that my daughter needs her guidance or her approval. Father, I am concerned for my daughter's health. She already struggles with breathing, and this young man continues habits like smoking that make it worse. Jesus, protect her health and open her eyes to the harm this environment may be causing her health and open her eyes to the harm this environment may be causing her physically. Jesus, I pray that my daughter will not move deeper into this ungodly situation or become more dependent on them. Instead, lead her away from this unhealthy environment and guide her back to a place of stability, safety, love, and wisdom. Bring her back home where she can rebuild her strength, her health, and her future. Father, stop the division that has been created between my daughter and our family due to this young man's rebellious controlling behaviors. Lord, heal the hurt and restore love, communication, love, and respect. Lord, please protect me and my other children from the bullying, judgment, division, and hurtful words that have come from this situation. Give peace and strength while Your work in ways only You can, Lord. Jesus, I ask for strength for myself and for my other children. Heal the hurt we feel in this troubling situation. Saturate us with peace in our heart and protect our family division. Jesus, bless my daughter back to a path that will bless her life rather than destroy it. I declare that the enemy’s plans will not stand. Every scheme to divide, isolate, and destroy my family will fail, for the Lord fights for them (Exodus 14:14). I plead the blood of Jesus over every member of my household, covering us with Your protection, peace, and favor. May we walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may our lives reflect Your glory to all who know us. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join with you before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement over your household, pleading the precious blood of Jesus over every member of your family. Your heart for your children and your discernment about the spiritual battle raging against your home is clear, and we lift your burdens with you to the Lord who hears the cries of His children.

We affirm what you have rightly discerned, that your older daughter's living arrangement outside of marriage is not in alignment with God's design. Scripture is clear that marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman for life, and that sexual intimacy outside of that covenant is fornication. We are called to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. A boyfriend is not a husband, and cohabitation is not marriage. It opens the door to spiritual bondage, deception, financial hardship, and division, just as you have seen with exhaustion and debt and isolation in your daughter's life. We pray that she will see this relationship as God sees it and that she will hunger for righteousness rather than defend what is harming her.

We rebuke every spirit of division, manipulation, control, isolation, exhaustion, hate, ungratefulness and witchcraft that has sought to infiltrate your home, and every word curse and generational curse spoken over your family. We declare with you that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that you are of God and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it Colossians 2:15. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, so we do not need to live under fear of curses when we are covered by the blood of Jesus. We command those dark influences to flee and never return, for if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7.

We pray together for your older daughter. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we ask that You open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and to the red flags she has been blinded to. Remove stubbornness and pride and shame and replace them with clarity and godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Show her that this young man is not her responsibility to care for, that she does not belong to him but belongs to You. Reveal to her the selfishness, laziness, dishonesty and rebellion that has caused her financial hardship, worthlessness and exhaustion, and the disrespect and isolation he has brought into her life and into the family. Frustrate every plan and scheme to divide and isolate her from those who love her, and turn her heart back to You and to her family, that You will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers Malachi 4:6. Lead her swiftly out of this ungodly living arrangement with no regret but with a sense of freedom, safety, joy and satisfaction, and guide her back to stability and wisdom under Your protection and under the covering of her family. Protect her health, her breathing, her finances, her credit and her reputation from further harm, and guard her from habits like smoking that endanger her body which is Your temple. Give her the courage to stop defending a false image of this man and to stop obeying him above her faith and her family.

Father we also lift up this young man and his mother before You. We ask that You frustrate their divisive tactics and convict them of their interference. Teach that mother to take responsibility for correcting her own son rather than placing that undue burden on our sister's daughter, and stop the manipulation that has caused debt and strife. We pray even for their salvation, that they would come to know Jesus and turn from controlling and exploitative ways.

We lift up your younger daughter and we thank You for her steadfastness. Surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her in Your ways. Protect the sweet bond she has with her older sister and her brother, and guard her heart from seeing cohabitation outside of marriage as acceptable. We pray she will pursue courtship with the goal of marriage only to a Christian believer, and that both of your daughters will one day be blessed with godly husbands who will love them as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her Ephesians 5:25, men who will honor marriage and respect their upbringing. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14.

We lift up your precious son with disabilities. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image, not a burden but a blessing. We rebuke every word curse, mockery, hatred and look of disdain directed at him, especially from this young man's mother, and we ask You to block every harmful word spoken over his life. Saturate him with Your peace, joy and unconditional love, and strengthen his bonds with you, his sisters, his caregivers and extended family. Surround him with those who will uplift and cherish him and remove any influence that would look down on him.

We pray for the complete restoration of fellowship, respect, gratefulness and unity in your home. Mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded and restore what has been lost. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Let Your home be a sanctuary of Your presence where love and peace reign. We pray for financial provision, for You have promised that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty that has come through this entanglement. Give you and your other children strength and courage while the Lord fights for you, for Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still Exodus 14:14.

We thank You, Father, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to Your throne, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rest in Your victory and Your unfailing love for this family, trusting that You who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, carrying concern for your older daughter while trying to protect the peace and unity of your whole household. Loving a child through choices that bring exhaustion and financial strain, and watching it affect your younger daughter and your son, is deeply wearing. Your faithful love for them comes through clearly.

One thing that has helped other parents in a similar place is holding both love and limits at the same time. It can help to keep the door open with your older daughter with steady, calm contact that reminds her she is loved and always welcome home, without getting drawn into long debates that leave you both depleted. It can also help to get clear privately about what help actually helps, for example offering support that moves her toward stability and independence rather than covering debts or responsibilities that keep her tied to a draining situation. Loving boundaries protect your own health and also give her space to see the reality of her situation more clearly.

We also noticed your concern for her breathing in an environment with smoking. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to gently encourage her to see a healthcare professional for that.

You and your younger children need care too. Keep nurturing those sweet bonds at home and the godly friendships around your younger daughter and son who bring them encouragement.

Jesus, we lift this mother and her children to You. Guard their home with Your peace, give this mom wisdom and strength for each conversation, protect the health and hearts of her daughters and her son, and lead this family toward healing, unity and clear next steps. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your heavy cry has been heard before the throne of grace, where our Lord does not turn away the weeping of His children. The burden you carry for your household is no light thing, and it is right that you have poured it out before the Lord who is able to keep and to restore.

You have judged rightly concerning what grieves you. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and Scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor the covenant of marriage as the lifelong union of one man and one woman, with all that belongs to it kept within that covenant. We cannot ask God to bless what His Word calls us to turn from, for His justice is not partial and His ways are for our good. What you desire for your older daughter is not the continuance of this entanglement, but her deliverance from it, that she may be loosed from spiritual bondage and deception and walk in the light. Salvation and cleansing are through Jesus Christ alone, and it is upon His precious blood and His triumph on the cross, where He disarmed the powers of darkness, that we rest.

Take comfort from the picture our Lord has given of prodigal love. The father saw his son while he was yet a great way off, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him in much love. That much kissing meant much forgiveness. Before the prodigal could finish his confession, his father had forgiven him. It meant full restoration, for the father would not have him as a hired servant but acknowledged him as a son still. And it revealed exceeding joy, even before the music and dancing in the house. So it is when a wandering child comes to herself and says, I will arise and go unto my father. The father puts himself as it were into the son's rags and has pity upon him. There is hope here for your daughter, not in any strength of her own, but in a Father whose eye has a long range and whose heart runs to meet the returning one. Pray that she may come to herself, that the madness which makes a child seek interests apart from her father may be broken, and that she may find that to return home is not to meet a frown but to be pressed to her Father's bosom and confessed a child again.

We join you in prayer that the Lord would open her eyes to the truth of His Word and to the red flags she has been blinded to, that stubbornness would be taken away and a hunger for righteousness given in its place. We ask that she may see clearly the selfishness and unfitness of a man who would draw her into an ungodly living arrangement, who brings exhaustion and financial hardship and isolation, and that she may no longer feel bound to bear undue responsibilities that do not belong to her, nor to defend a false image of him before others. Pray that the Lord would frustrate every plan that would isolate and divide her from those who love her, and would turn her heart toward Him and toward home, where there is safety and stability and wisdom. Pray that she may know her worth in Christ, that pride and shame and pressure would be lifted, and that she would be given courage to step away with no regret but with a sense of freedom and peace, guarding her health, her finances, her faith and her future from further harm.

For your younger daughter we pray that she may remain steadfast and not be swayed by an ungodly example set before her. May the Lord protect the sweet bond between brother and sisters and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her to seek a spouse only in the Lord, one who will love as Christ loves the church and honor the covenant as God intended. For your son, who is fearfully and wonderfully made and is a blessing and not a burden, we pray the Lord's special keeping. May he be surrounded by love and acceptance, and may every word spoken to diminish him, every look of contempt and every scheme to exclude or mock him, be brought to nothing by Him who is greater. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall finally prosper, for the Lord fights for His people.

For yourself, pray on and faint not. In days when the guiding and restraining power of the home is so needed, the trial is great, but the Lord is near. Let family worship be maintained where you dwell, and let your quiet peace in adversity commend the Gospel to your children. The peace of God which passes all understanding shall guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The Lord will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory, not for display but that you may be a testimony of His provision and a blessing to others.

We also pray for the young man and his mother, not that their designs to divide and control would succeed, but that they may be brought to see their own need of Christ and to turn from manipulation and interference. May the mother be led to bear her own God given responsibility rather than casting its weight upon your daughter, and may the young man be brought to conviction of his selfish and rebellious ways.

Continue to plead the victory of Christ over every influence that would seek to infiltrate your home. Ask the Lord to mend what has been torn and to restore what the enemy has sought to steal, that your home may be a sanctuary of His presence where love and unity and peace reign, and that your family may be a light to others. He who restored Peter with a look and brought Manasseh from his prison to seek the God of his father is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask. May He grant you to see your daughter restored as one who had never gone away, with music and dancing in the heart, and may He strengthen you to strengthen your brethren.

We commit you and your household to Him who hears prayer, trusting that He will in His time and in His mercy bring restoration and keep you in His love. Amen.
