Your prayer for your family has been received with care and with sorrow for the burden you carry, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone saves through Jesus Christ.

You have judged rightly according to Scripture that living together outside of marriage is fornication and is not God's design. The body is not for fornication but for the Lord, and such sin defiles the soul. As the prophet says, we are to wash our hearts from wickedness, for not only fornication but all wickedness pollutes us before God. Marriage as God ordained it is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sex and living together belong only within that covenant. We will not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we will ask Him to lead to repentance and to holiness.

We pray with you for your older daughter. We ask the Father to open her eyes to see the deception, exploitation and spiritual bondage in this relationship, to remove the false sense of obligation that binds her, and to break the chains of this ungodly living arrangement. May God gently but swiftly draw her out of that environment and back to the safety and wisdom of her family and His Word. True love does not add to the sin of another but seeks to draw the beloved away from it, and we pray that her heart would be filled with a hunger for righteousness and a desire to honor God in all her relationships, so that she no longer defends, provides for, or desires to live with a man outside of marriage.

We also pray concerning the influence of this young man and his mother. We ask that God expose every motive rooted in pride, manipulation, division and control, and frustrate every plan to divide or isolate your family. We pray that your daughter would recognize and reject ungodly counsel, that she would no longer turn to that house for advice, and that she would remember she is a child of the Most High God and has a loving family who raised her in His ways. We pray that this woman would be kept from influence at your daughter's workplace and over her decisions.

For your younger daughter we pray for steadfastness. May the Lord guard her heart from being swayed by the example before her, heal the pain of rejection she feels when her sister puts this man and his family first, and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who encourage her in faith. May she never see living together outside of marriage as acceptable, but desire a spouse who honors God and values the sanctity of marriage.

For your son we pray that the Lord would shine light into every dark place, grant him peace that surpasses understanding, and restore the loving relationship he once had with his sister. We rebuke in prayer the hatred, mockery, isolation and harmful words directed toward him, and we ask God to saturate him with joy and assurance that he is deeply loved, valued and included both in your family and in Christ.

We join you in dedicating your home to the Lord. We ask Him to cleanse every room and corner from every word curse and negative influence, to restore unity, joy, peace and fellowship within your walls, and to make your home a beacon of His light. We pray for financial provision not for selfish gain but so your family may be a blessing to others and a testimony of His provision. We pray for godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church and lead them in righteousness within the covenant of marriage.

We will continue to correct as a physician provides medicine, not as an adversary exacting penalty, speaking the truth in love because love cannot leave sin unaddressed. We declare with you that no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall finally prosper, and we plead the blood of Jesus and the full armor of God over you and your children for protection from division, chaos, jealousy and every spiritual attack.

May the Lord who anointed and kept David, and who calls all to account according to light and grace received, grant you strength, restore what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, and make your family a living testimony of His grace and power. We trust Him for complete restoration and victory in the mighty name of Jesus our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Your heart for your family and your desire to see them guarded and restored is heard, and it is right to bring every part of this burden to the Father through Jesus Christ. Scripture reminds us that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. It is also true that no weapon formed against those who belong to Him will finally prosper, for our protection is not in our own strength but in the blood of Jesus and in walking in His truth.

For your older daughter, you are right to name what God names. The body is not for fornication but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. To live together outside of marriage is fornication, and Scripture calls us to flee it because it is a sin against our own body and it joins what belongs to Christ to what is outside His design. God created sexual intimacy and shared life to belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, a covenant that pictures Christ and His church. Any arrangement outside that is not His will and will bring spiritual bondage, confusion and hardship, even when it feels like love or obligation.

Pray that the Lord opens her eyes and restores her first love for Him. At the heart of every other broken relationship is our relationship with God. When that relationship is made right through repentance and faith in Jesus alone, other relationships begin to come into balance. Pray that she turns from a merely outward or legal form of faith to a living, loving relationship with Jesus, where she knows herself as a daughter adopted into the family of God and can call Him Father. In that close relationship she will find her worth and guidance in Him alone, not in the demands or approval of another person. Pray that any false sense of commitment that keeps her bound is broken, that deception is exposed, that the hunger for righteousness returns, and that she no longer defends or provides for a union that dishonors God. If marriage is ever to be considered, pray it would only be in the Lord and in His way, with honor and purity, not through continued cohabitation.

Concerning the influence of this young man and his mother, it is painful to watch manipulation, pride, division and isolation work against a child you raised in the Word. A polluted environment will touch everyone who lives close to it, and Scripture shows how jealousies and rivalries multiply when God's order is ignored. Ask the Lord to frustrate every plan that seeks to divide and isolate your family, to expose selfish motives, and to set clear boundaries. It is right to pray for protection over your daughter's workplace and for wisdom to recognize and reject ungodly counsel. Pray also that your daughter remembers the loving family God gave her and learns to honor her parents as Scripture commands, for that honoring carries promise and protection.

For your younger daughter, pray that the Lord keeps her steadfast and surrounds her with godly friendships and mentors who encourage her in the Word. Ask Him to heal the sting of rejection she feels when her sister puts this relationship first, to wrap her in His comfort, and to strengthen her conviction that living together outside marriage is never an acceptable path. Pray that she will wait for and seek a husband who loves as Christ loves the church and who honors the covenant of marriage.

For your son, pray that the light of Christ shines into every dark place and gives him peace that surpasses understanding. Pray that the Lord restores the kind and loving bond he once shared with his sister, and that every word of hatred, mockery, exclusion or cursing directed toward him is silenced by the truth that he is deeply loved and valued by God. Pray that he always knows he is accepted, included and protected in your home and in the Father's family.

As you dedicate your home to the Lord, ask Him to cleanse every room and to break the power of every generational influence, word curse and negative pattern through the cross of Christ. In Christ we are forgiven and adopted, and no curse has authority over those who belong to Him. Pray that unity, joy, fellowship and peace are restored, so your home becomes a place of light that points others to His grace. Pray for financial provision not for selfish gain but so you may be a blessing and a testimony of His care.

Continue to put on the full armor of God and to plead the blood of Jesus over yourself and your children, not as a formula but as confidence in what Jesus has already done. Trust that the Lord fights for you, that He is able to mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded and restore what has been lost. May He lead each of your children to salvation through Jesus Christ alone and to relationships that honor Him, and may your family be a living testimony of His love, grace and power. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
