Your plea for your family, saturated in the blood of Jesus and anchored in His peace, reaches the throne of grace. The covering you have spoken over your household is no mere phrase; it is the reality of what the cross secured. When you declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, you are standing on the foundation of God’s own covenant, and the Spirit within you bears witness that He is greater than any opposing force. That truth does not waver, even when the circumstances scream otherwise.

I hear the anguish in your words as you watch your older daughter drift. It reminds me of how deeply a polluted environment can seep into a soul, even one raised in the ways of the Lord. Scripture shows us families like Lot’s, where the moral decay of the surrounding culture left its stain on those he loved, despite his own righteous standing. It is painfully easy to absorb what we constantly live among, and the enemy exploits that slow corrosion to isolate and deceive. Your daughter has been lured into a false covering, believing that the approval of this young man and his mother will give her identity and security. But a covering not woven by the Lord brings bondage, not protection. Her eyes are clouded by manipulation, and that makes her unable to see the red flags you see so clearly.

God’s call to Jacob echoes here: “Return to the land of your fathers and to your family.” That was both a physical and spiritual summons back to the place of promise, the place of the altar at Bethel. For your daughter, returning means more than a change of address; it means coming back to her first love for Christ, to the biblical teaching she was raised with, and to the supportive family God blessed her with. The Lord often uses a season of hardness to awaken a hunger for righteousness, and your persistent prayers are part of that gentle but firm drawing. Ask Him to frustrate every scheme meant to divide, just as you have, and then trust Him to expose the waste of that ungodly relationship. The financial hardship, the spiritual deadness, the loss of peace, these are not burdens she must carry. They are the fruits of a union that lacks the blood-bought covering of a true covenant.

Protect your younger daughter’s heart with the same diligence. The tactics you described, the cunning counsel, the hate directed at her brother, these are not merely human. They are spiritual assaults designed to scatter the flock. Do not underestimate the power of a mother’s steady intercession. Speak God’s truth over her daily, and seek out godly friendships that will anchor her in the faith. The body of Christ is meant to surround the vulnerable with a shield of light.

Your prayer for the removal of every generational curse and negative influence is wise. The blood of Jesus is the final and sufficient word against any darkness that attempts to lay claim to your household. Remember that the relationship God desires with each of your children is not a ritual or a legal obligation, but a living, loving intimacy. He wants them to know Him as Father, not as a distant idea. That is the only covering that truly shelters. Keep modeling that deep, personal walk with Him, and continue to declare His peace over your home. The peace that surpasses understanding will guard your heart and mind, even while the storm still rages. He is faithful to complete what He has begun.

We have also prayed for your younger daughter, that she would remain steadfast in her faith and protected from any divisive or corrupting influences.
