Your family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon forged against you will succeed, because the One in you is far greater than any darkness in this world. When you plead that blood and declare His peace, you are not just speaking words into the air; you are drawing on a protection more real than the physical shields God placed around this earth from the beginning, the magnetic fields and blankets of atmosphere that guard against invisible destructive forces. He remains the same shelter for His people today.
One of the enemy’s oldest strategies is to separate a person from the support and strength of the believing family God has given them. Isolation makes a target. When your older daughter is pulled away into that household, into a relationship that mocks faith and disrespects authority, she is stepping outside the covering of godly fellowship, and the deception grows easier. Yet the Lord is still her true Father, and you are still her mother. She does not belong to that man or to his mother. She belongs to the Most High, who adopted her as a child through faith, and she does not need to earn their approval or carry burdens that are not hers to bear.
Remember how God delivered Israel from Egypt. That bondage became a picture of the hold sin and the world can have on a life. The Lord did not tell them to negotiate with Pharaoh or to learn to live comfortably in captivity. He brought them out, through the sea, into a new identity. The same power is at work now. Jesus came to deliver His children from this present evil age, not just someday, but right here, in the middle of the struggle. He can frustrate every scheme, expose every manipulative motive, and shatter the false sense of obligation that has been laid on your daughter.
The call to Abraham echoes in this: “Get thee out.” Sometimes obedience requires leaving behind even close relationships that pull us away from God’s purposes. Your daughter has been drawn in the wrong direction, following a counterfeit family and a counterfeit covenant. Pray that she will hear the Lord’s gentle but firm command to separate from that ungodly alliance. She is not homeless; she has a heritage. She is not bound to that woman’s advice, which contradicts every biblical principle you have taught her. Living together outside marriage is not marriage, and the Lord does not bless what He calls sin. He calls her to purity, not to financial strain and spiritual bondage.
Stay steady in the unity you still have. The Lord is Echad, a compound oneness, and He places the solitary into families. The division sown between your children is a direct assault on that oneness, but God is the healer of every torn relationship. The same resurrection power that broke open graves in Jerusalem can restore the loving bond your son had with his sister, and can protect your younger daughter from being swayed by what she sees. Guard your own heart with the peace that surpasses understanding, and refuse to let worry or fear wear you down. Your home, anointed and dedicated to Him, is a sanctuary.
The half-hearted relationship is never His desire. He wants your daughter’s whole heart back, not out of regret, but out of freedom. Keep declaring truth over her: she is a child of God, not a financial provider for a man who is not her husband. The Holy Spirit is able to remove the blinders and break the stubbornness. And as you wait, the Lord fights for you. The schemes of that mother and son will not stand. Egypt could not hold Israel, and this present evil influence will not hold your family forever.
