Family Prayer

We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace and we thank God with you for your desire to be protected, healed, and drawn ever closer to Him. It is good and right to give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you as taught in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and we rejoice that you have come before the Father in Jesus' Name, for Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We are encouraged by your prayer for protection and healing, for our God is our refuge and healer. We cling to the promise in Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And we hold to His promise to restore us in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. He also reminds us in Psalm 103:3 that He is the one who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases.
Your longing to love Him more each day reflects the greatest commandment in Deuteronomy 6:5, You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you as promised in James 4:8, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
We pray together with you now. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this family and for their hearts that seek You. We ask for Your hand of protection to cover them and keep them from harm, and for Your healing touch to restore them in body, mind, and spirit according to Your will. Draw each member of this family closer to You day by day, deepen their love for You, and help them to walk in obedience and faith. Teach them to love You more fully and to love one another as You have loved us, building their home on Christ as the foundation. May their family be a testimony of Your grace and may they continue to give thanks in all circumstances. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking Him together daily through prayer and His Word, dwelling in His secret place and trusting Him as your fortress. As you remain faithful in thanksgiving and in love for Him, He will continue to protect, heal, and lead your family in His perfect peace.

One small step that often helps is choosing one simple, sustainable rhythm together, perhaps a brief prayer together at breakfast or before bed, or reading a few verses aloud and thanking Him. Keeping it small helps it last.
Father, we lift this family to You. Cover them with Your protection, bring Your healing where it is needed, and gently draw each heart to love You more today than yesterday. Give them peace in their home and unity in seeking You, and help them to know Your nearness as they walk faithfully with You together. In Jesus' name, amen.

How good it is to bring your household together before the throne of grace with such a prayer. The Lord who hears you is the living God, not a distant or dreamlike power, but the true and living God with a great warm loving heart, who rules and overrules in nature and providence and grace, and who is as powerful and tender now as ever He was.
You ask for protection and healing, and you do well to come to the great Physician who is at the right hand of God. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His leaves are for the healing of His people. When our own strength fails, then God appears and becomes our arm every morning and our salvation in the time of trouble. Having forgiven sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, He dries up the well of bitterness and makes even affliction a healing draught to the soul. May He spread that healing over your home and keep you under the shadow of His hand.
You pray also, draw us to love You more each day, and in this you pray according to His will. It is His way to give more grace. To the hungry He gives good things, and where He has given a measure of grace He loves to give more. May He grant you that living, loving, lasting union with Christ of which the believer can say, Lord Jesus, we are one with You. In that union His love to you and your love to Him flow in the same channel and make one glorious stream, so that you love one another for Christ's sake and love His truth as He loves it.
Ask the Lord to make your family a living temple for the living God, for He dwells with those who are of a broken and contrite heart and who tremble at His Word because they believe it to be all true. Keep His Word before you, tremble lest you should abuse such grace, and yet rejoice that His eternal love will never cast away those it has chosen. Seek to realize His presence more and more, and to praise Him more and more in your common conversation, when you sit in the house and when you walk by the way.
May the Lord answer you according to His abundant mercy, protect your household, heal what is sick, forgive what is sinful through Jesus Christ alone, and cause your love to Him to grow stone upon stone till the work is complete. May He keep you abiding in Christ, loving Him and rejoicing in Him, and may your home be found faithful when He comes. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father please grant Powers and family be blessed receive revelation (as we all need desperately) to Love You, one another, please grant them Your protection, deliverance from evil (Mt 6:13; 2Thessalonians 3:2-3) Please grant all needs spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial be met through Your riches in glory. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
