What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer for your family! We join you in lifting these requests before the Father, knowing that He hears and delights in the petitions of His children when they come in the name of Jesus. You have rightly acknowledged that it is only through Christ that we can approach the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have included His name in your prayer. This is a foundational truth—there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:18).
Your prayer reflects a deep desire for your family to walk in God’s will, to love Him wholeheartedly, and to grow closer in your relationships through Christ. This is a godly and noble request, one that aligns perfectly with Scripture. Jesus Himself told us that the greatest commandment is to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:37, WEB). When we prioritize this love, everything else in our lives—including our relationships with one another—falls into its proper place under His lordship.
We also notice your plea for deliverance from evil, and we stand with you in this. The apostle Peter reminds us to be sober and vigilant because "your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8, WEB). But we have this promise: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7, WEB). As you seek to walk in obedience and love, God will be your shield and protector.
Let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this family, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Provider, and the Protector, and we ask that You would save, heal, and shield them from all harm. Father, we pray that You would draw each member of this family closer to Yourself, that their love for You would grow deeper each day, consuming their hearts, souls, and minds. May their love for You be evident in their words, their actions, and their priorities.
Lord, we ask that You would knit their hearts together in unity and love, that their relationships would be rooted in Christ and reflect His grace and truth. Where there is division, bring reconciliation. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear, bring faith. Help them to encourage one another daily, to bear one another’s burdens, and to spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).
Father, we rebuke any schemes of the enemy that would seek to harm or divide this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Deliver them from evil, Lord, and lead them not into temptation. May they walk in wisdom, discernment, and the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). May they rest in Your love and trust in Your provision, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord together as a family. Spend time in His Word daily, pray together, and worship Him in all that you do. Remember that a family that prays together stays together under the covering of God’s grace. If there are specific areas in your family’s life where you need wisdom or breakthrough, don’t hesitate to bring those before the Lord as well. He cares deeply for each of you and desires to lead you into a life of abundance in Him.
Finally, we leave you with this promise from Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB): "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore." Cling to this truth, and walk forward in faith!
