Giving thanks with you for the Father's goodness and for the prayer warriors He has placed around you is right and good. It is a blessing to see His care through the prayers of others, and to join together in asking for His hand upon your family.
I join you in asking for His protection and healing in the name of Jesus. Scripture shows that Jesus bore our infirmities as well as our sins, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirms, and that His power reaches into every area of need. He has authority over sickness in the body, peace for the mind and emotions, and power over spiritual forces, even calming wind and sea by His word. When we come to Him for healing we can trust that same power and love.
He does not work in only one way. At times He healed instantly with a touch, at other times with only a word from a distance, at other times the healing came gradually. Even the natural processes of recovery that He built into our bodies are His divine work, for He created those processes. And His healing is not only physical, He also brings healing to wounded hearts and minds and memories. We do not always understand why some receive immediate physical healing and others experience a slower process or continue to wait, even the apostle Paul prayed repeatedly for his own affliction and learned to trust God's purpose in it. It is not right to assume that continued sickness means a lack of faith or hidden sin. We simply bring our requests to Him, as the early believers brought the sick for prayer, and trust His wisdom and mercy to answer according to what is best.
For your family, I pray that the Lord will keep you under His care, guarding you from harm and from the influence of evil, and that His healing presence will rest upon each one who needs it, whether the need is in the body, the mind, or the heart. May He give you wisdom in daily decisions, may His love prevail in your home, and may He help you to meet any adversity with kindness and grace. May you know the deeper bond that comes when a family walks together in Christ, sharing His love and encouragement with one another.
Father, thank You for this family and for those who pray for them. I ask that You protect them, provide for them, and bring Your healing as You see fit, whether quickly or through the gradual work You have ordained.
