Family, pls let me know if I am being petty

Greetings to my beautiful family and friends. For those that know me, I have been facing two problems. One was solved, HALLEJUAH!, by the grace of God. Now you know that I lost a position that I wanted with a general officer because he just doesnt like me, not because of my job performance. I actually had to wait til my replacement came back from vacation before I could leave though. My question is this, Am I being petty because I dont want to train her so that her job will be secured? They wanted her there, they should train her but they want me to do it which I have been but I dont think that I should have to. I wanted the job but since I am being replaced then I shouldnt be the one securing the job for someone else right? Or am I just being petty and selfish. Please let me know, I value your opinions.

On this site we are like a big christian family and we can take anything of concern for our bothers and sisters in christ to help us pray about or to give us their opinion. Srephanie Sometimes the Lord has better things in store for us, much better than what we may think is good for us. Remenber the Lord loves us and he has many blessings waiting to shower us with only if we ask. I dont think you are being petty because you dont want train the other officer, its human nature to think that way at times. We just need to pray and ask GOD to guide us as what to do in this situation. Also the fact that they want you to train someone means they know you are good at your job.

Jesus i ask you to guide Steph in the right way. Show her the direction to follow Jesus, open other doors for her and make her content in her job. Break every strong hold in her life that is holding her back, pave the path for her and give onto her what is due. we thank you for the all the blessing she has to come in her life.

Stephanie, Nothing on your heart and in your mind is petty to anyone of us here on this site, or to God!!!!We love you, honey and so does the Lord. This is weighing on you and I know it is hard to train someone for a job you want. They may be looking at how you handle this situation, even though it is not fair. 2 WRONGS doesn't make a right and honey you know this. Lord, I pray Stephanie handles this situation with dignity, as I am sure she is, as I know she is a woman of great integrity, and she will shine with her knowledge of this doing this position. Lord, let there be no one else that can do the job like Stephanie and let it be shown to the general officer very clear. Lord, I pray she trains this replacement as best as she can, as I am sure she will and in the end, It will be up to You Lord. If this position is truly meant for Stephanie Lord, I Trust and Believe even though it may appear as though it is not hers now, it will be very soon. Lord I pray, If it is not your will for Stephanie to have this position, I Trust and Believe You have A Better Plan for her, that she may not even be aware of now. Be strong and Brave and Wait for the Lord's Help, Steph. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

Father, help Stephanie know and do your will with persistance, joy and grace! Help her not just get through, but get through with victory and great fullness of the holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus.

It is okay to ask others about feedback when something is on our minds. So don't feel bad. I think that you should trian this person and whilst you are doing so let your light shine for him. The higher up will see how you are handling the situation and you may never know. Don't let the enemy steal your future. God has something better in store for you. Steph!!!! You are Wonderful Amazing and a PRINCESS! A Child of the Most High....not petty. I personally think that you should give of your best to the very end. If that includes training your replacement then so be it. Remember someone will see your faithfulness and perseverance and see a HIGHER POWER than yourself. And besides that, I think you can leave that position and know without a shadow of a doubt that you have been faithful to the end. God WILL reward faithfulness. Remember to show Christ in all your actions. Remember to remind the replacement that All things work together for Good to those Who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
