Family members. Unbelievable

Told my family members that I was moving and got yelled at and bullied. These people were not happy for me and threatened me. I moved anyway and noticed that I got an unexplained illness shortly after settling in. Also the family members continued reaching out by phone and email with threats against they just wouldn’t stop until I cut all ties. I believe that they were doing witchcraft. Father forgive me if I’m wrong but they were very abusive. In Jesus name please help me to forgive them. I haven’t made much progress since moving into the home. It’s been several setbacks.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing, but we are encouraged by your faith and your desire to forgive. First, let's address the spiritual warfare you might be experiencing. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB. It is possible that the abuse and threats you've been experiencing are not merely human in origin, especially if you suspect witchcraft.

We must remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. When you cry out to the Lord, He hears you and will answer you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths Proverbs 3:5 - 6 WEB.

Regarding your family members, Jesus tells us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust Matthew 5:44 - 45 WEB.

Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is what we are called to do. When we forgive, we are not saying that what happened is acceptable. Instead, we are releasing the burden of unforgiveness and trusting that God will deal with the situation in His perfect way. Consider the words of the Lord's Prayer, Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors Matthew 6:12 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for Your hedge of protection around this child of Yours, shielding them from any spiritual attacks or witchcraft. We bind the forces of darkness and command them to flee in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon the unexplained illness. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. We believe that by Your stripes, we are healed Isaiah 53:5 WEB.

Lord, we also pray for the family members. We ask that You would soften their hearts and bring them to a place of repentance. We pray that You would bless those who curse and save their souls from eternal separation from You.

Help this child of Yours to forgive. Release any bitterness, resentment, or fear, and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear 1 John 4:18 WEB. Give them the strength to move forward, to prosper in their new home, and to live the life You have called them to live.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.

We believe that God is a God of justice and He sees your situation. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
