O LORD, hear our prayer, listen to our cry for mercy; in Your faithfulness and righteousness come to Spupunu's relief. Prevent the enemy from pursuing him or his sister. Prevent Spupunu's spirit from growing faint within him; keep his sister's heart within her from despair. Remind them to meditate on all your works and consider what Your hands have done, Eternal Father.
We spread out our hands to You, Lord; stir Spupunu's soul; and stir his sister's soul to thirst for You, Lord, like a parched land. Answer them quickly, O LORD; let not their spirits fail. You hide not Your face from them, Lord, but You bend down Your ear to listen to them.
Let the morning bring Spupunu and his sister word of Your unfailing love, for Spupunu has put his trust in You. Show this brother and sister the way they should go, for to You they lift up their souls. Rescue them from their enemies, O LORD, for they hide themselves in You. Teach them to do Your will, for You are their God; may Your good Spirit lead them both on level ground. For Your name's sake, O LORD, preserve their lives; in Your righteousness, bring them out of trouble. In Your unfailing love, silence their enemies; destroy all foes, for they have placed their trust in You.
