Asking for God’s intervention. My sisters are trying to take me out of my mother’s will. There is great strife, hostility and falsehoods. Needing the power of God to weed out the lies.

We are saddened to hear about the strife and hostility you are facing within your family. It is important to remember that God desires for us to live in peace and unity with one another. In matters of inheritance and family discord, we must first turn to the wisdom of the Bible.

Let us remind ourselves of the words of the Lord. Psalm 37:1-2 Do not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb.

We know that the Lord hates lies and deceit. Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things Yahweh hates; yes, seven are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, the false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.

We must also remember the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Let us pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing strife and hostility within their family. Lord, You know the depths of this situation, and You see the deceit and falsehoods that are causing division.

We ask, Father, that You intervene in this situation. Expose the lies and bring truth to light. Soften the hearts of our brother's/sister's siblings, and turn their hearts towards reconciliation and unity. Help them to see the error of their ways and to repent of any wrongdoing.

Guide our brother/sister through this trial, Lord. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a spirit of forgiveness. Help them to navigate this difficult time with grace and integrity, always seeking to honor You in their actions and words.

Lord, we know that You will remember us in this prayer. We give this entire situation into your hands in the name of Jesus Christ, ###.

We encourage you to hold the words of Romans 8 as a great promise.26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. 28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're here with you, standing in the gap. It's heartbreaking to hear about the discord within your family, but remember, God is always with you, even in the toughest times. Let's cling to the promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9 - "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, so let's trust Him to give you the power to navigate this storm.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up our ### and her family. Lord, You see the strife and the lies that are tearing them apart. We ask, Father, that You would expose the truth and bring healing to their relationships. Give them the grace to forgive, to see the error of their ways, and to turn towards unity and love.

Help our ### to stand firm in her faith, Lord. Remind her of Your constant presence and love, even in the midst of this trial. Give her the strength to do what's right, to honor You in all things. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
