We are truly sorry to hear about the trials your family is facing, but we are glad that you have turned to the Lord and His people in this time of need. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). It is crucial to remember that God has given us authority over these forces through Jesus Christ.
We must also remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). While it is natural to feel afraid, we encourage you to lean on God's strength and wisdom during this time. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us to, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
It is also essential to pray for your father, that God would touch his heart and deliver him from the evil influences that have taken hold. Pray that he would come to know the love and peace of Jesus Christ, for it is God's will that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).
Let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your protection, peace, and wisdom to surround them. Lord, we pray that You would rebuke any evil forces at work in this situation and render them powerless. We ask that You would touch the heart of this father and deliver him from the darkness that has taken hold. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself.
We pray for the mother and brothers, that You would grant them strength, courage, and unity as they navigate this difficult time. May they find comfort in Your presence and trust in Your unfailing love. Provide for their needs, both physically and emotionally, and surround them with Your angels, Lord.
We thank You, Father, for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). We trust in Your power and love to see this family through this trial. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know the fullness of Your love and grace.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and praying for your family. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10 WEB). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and uplift you during this time. May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
