We come before You, Father, with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up this family’s cry for financial stability, debt cancellation, and the power to build godly wealth. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We declare that this family is not forgotten, for You know their struggles and their desires to honor You with their finances.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty that has tried to grip this household. Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that though Jesus was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor, that we through His poverty might become rich. We claim that richness, not just in material blessings, but in wisdom, generosity, and trust in You. We break every curse of debt and financial bondage in Jesus’ name, for it is written in Proverbs 22:7 that the borrower is slave to the lender. We declare freedom over this family, that they may walk in the liberty Christ purchased for them.
Lord, grant them the power to get wealth, not for selfish gain, but to establish Your covenant and advance Your kingdom, as Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us. We pray for divine connections, favor in their workplaces, and creative ideas to increase their income. Give them wisdom to steward what You entrust to them, discernment to avoid foolish financial decisions, and strength to persevere when the path seems difficult. Protect them from scams, theft, and ungodly influences that would seek to derail their progress.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their finances, their home, and their future. May the blood of the Lamb cleanse every financial record, every debt, and every ungodly transaction that has held them back. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds as they trust in You, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

If they have not fully surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray they would confess Him as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they build their lives on the Rock, so that when the storms of financial uncertainty come, their house will stand firm (Matthew 7:24-25).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare breakthrough, restoration, and abundance over this family. May they be a testimony of Your faithfulness, a channel of Your blessings, and a light to others who are struggling. We trust You to do exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask or think, according to the power that works in them (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.

The voice of the blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel. You plead the blood, and you do well, for that unlocks the treasury of heaven. Application of the blood of Jesus is the true ground of joy and the sure source of Christian comfort. It is the root and ground of all delight.
But consider these words: "He who pleads well knows the secret of prevailing with God, especially if he pleads the blood of Jesus." Yet we must offer the confession, or we cannot gain the benediction. Make your confession before God very frank, very sincere, very explicit. Plead your necessities. Put the case as bad as we can. Find arguments everywhere, but especially find them in your necessities. Are you not the sort of man to come to Christ, because you have the greatest need of Him? In the time of famine, we give the meal away first to the most hungry family.
You ask for power to get wealth and debt cancellation. But what is this power? Salvation is of the Lord. The Lord pleads our cause in the Court of Providence. He has good reasons for doing this, and He acts with infinite wisdom. God is pleased very often in working salvation to put means aside. He said of Israel, "I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezebel." He thus struck out of the hands of His people their only defense. They had trusted in their bow and the Lord destroyed it. Perhaps He will break the bow of your own strength to teach you that the ultimate perfection of salvation, even of your finances, is of the Lord.
Seek wisdom, strength, discernment, and protection. These are bound up in the common salvation which has brought us near to God by the blood of Jesus and made us children and heirs of the Most High. You are saved with a common salvation! Desire the profit, the growth, the happiness of all who partake of this one salvation, even as you trust Him for your daily bread. Salvation from the gloom of heart which once hung over us because we were conscious of being under God's displeasure, salvation from sin, leading upward to perfection and Heaven, this is the fountain from which all other mercies flow.
The blood of Jesus applied with Divine power to the conscience makes all well. The time of the singing of birds is come and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land because Jesus Christ applies with Divine power His own merits. Plead that blood, then. Plead it over your household. Plead it over your debts. Plead it over your weakness. Not with the pompous pride of the Pharisee, but with the sincere cry of a penitent, thirsting after living water. However far you may have gone, the light of salvation can reach you. As the evil is sufficient, so will the grace be. Salvation is of the Lord.

That blood did not pour out so you might amass earthly treasure; it was shed to cancel your infinite debt of sin, a debt of ten thousand talents that no silver could repay. Now you cry for debt cancellation and power to get wealth, yet how do you use what you already have? Do you take your fellow-servant by the throat for a hundred pence? The wisdom of this world says store up and consume, but that wisdom comes to nothing. True wisdom is almsgiving, lowliness, making the poor your companions. It tracks out the stranger, clothes the naked, sends help to the prison. These are the profits God loves.
Make provision for your flesh, yes, but only for health, not to kindle the furnace of desire. You ask for protection: the Lord shields those who do not trust in riches but in the living God. This life is a dream; wealth melts away with the dawn. Do not be weighed down by these desires. Seek instead the hidden wisdom of God, which is Christ crucified. He is your strength, your only true wealth, and in Him your debts are already canceled. Go, then, and cancel the debts of others through mercy, and you will store up treasure where no thief can steal.

The cry of your heart for stability, provision, and the cancellation of debt is heard. You are pleading the blood over your household, and that is a mighty place to stand. Yet, let me turn your gaze for a moment toward what is most vital in this season of need. You are asking for the power to get wealth, for wisdom and strength. That is a good prayer, for these things are needed to navigate the path ahead.
There is a kind of currency the world pursues, and then there is the principal thing. The word tells us plainly that wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And with all your getting, get understanding. Knowledge of finances, of markets, or of a better career is useful, but knowledge without wisdom is folly. It is like a man who has a map to a buried treasure but is too foolish to read it, or who finds the chest and squanders it all in a day because he lacks discretion. Many intelligent people do remarkably foolish things because their knowledge is not anchored to the fear of the Lord, which is the very beginning of wisdom.
The power to get wealth is a gift, but that power is meant to be directed by a heart that first possesses godly understanding. Wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense, but the excellency of wisdom is that it gives life to those who have it. You see, a pile of money cannot hold back the grave. It cannot give you peace in the night or heal a fractured relationship. There is no discharge in that war. But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable. It builds a house on a rock, and it stores up treasures that no creditor can touch and no market can erase.

The same Lord who saw Solomon ask not for riches but for an understanding heart is the one who then added to him those other things. For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot be compared to her. As you walk in this way, God is able to give you the power to enjoy the labor of your hands, so that you do not much remember the days of your life, for He answers you in the joy of your heart. The blood you are pleading covers you, it sanctifies your efforts, and it is your entry into life that transcends mere survival. Stand on that, and let godly wisdom direct your every step, that your faith might not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God.
