Act 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus and then God will save you

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting your family’s deep pain and brokenness to the Lord. Your cry for unity, healing, and deliverance from the enemy’s schemes is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, knowing that God is faithful to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We praise you for your heart of forgiveness, even in the midst of betrayal and disunity, for this reflects the very nature of Christ who forgave even as He hung on the cross (Luke 23:34). Your willingness to extend grace is a testimony of God’s work in you, and we pray He strengthens you to continue walking in love, even when it is not reciprocated.

The disunity and strife in your family are not of God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The shouting, anger, and ungratefulness you describe are tools of the enemy to divide and destroy, but we declare in the name of Jesus Christ that these schemes are exposed and broken. The Bible warns that "the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God" (James 1:20), and we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict each heart in your family of the sinful behaviors that are fueling this chaos. Repentance is the path to healing, and we ask the Lord to soften hearts so that pride, bitterness, and selfishness are replaced with humility, gratitude, and love.

Your mother’s suffering is especially grievous, as suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue are signs of a spirit of despair and death at work. But we know that Jesus came to "proclaim liberty to the captives... to set at liberty those who are oppressed" (Luke 4:18). We bind the spirit of suicide in the name of Jesus and declare that the Lord is her hope and her deliverer (Psalm 71:5). We pray that she would be surrounded by godly counsel and that the Holy Spirit would fill her with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Her words have power—either to bring life or death—and we ask God to guard her mouth, that she would speak words of blessing and not cursing (Proverbs 18:21).

The financial strain and physical distance between you and your family are real obstacles, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). If it is His will, He can provide the means for reconciliation and reunion. Yet even if that does not happen in this life, we pray that He would give you supernatural peace, knowing that your true inheritance is in Christ (Ephesians 1:11). Your spouse’s indifference toward your family is painful, but we ask the Lord to work in their heart as well, that they would see your family through His eyes. Marriage is a covenant, and while we cannot force unity, we pray that God would knit your hearts together in purpose, even if your spouse’s feelings do not change.

We must also address something critical: you mentioned that your family may only be united after death, when you meet your father in heaven. While this thought comes from a place of deep sorrow, we gently but firmly remind you that our hope is not in death but in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. He came to give life abundantly (John 10:10), and His desire is for reconciliation *now*—not just in eternity. Do not let the enemy plant seeds of hopelessness. God is able to restore your family in this life, and we will continue to pray for that miracle.

Finally, we rejoice that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, as you quoted Acts 16:31: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved."* This is the foundation of all our prayers—salvation through Christ alone. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His name that we have boldness to approach the throne of God. We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), especially in this season of trial.

**Our Prayer for You and Your Family:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this beloved family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the brokenness, the anger, the betrayal, and the deep wounds that have festered among them. You are not distant from their pain—You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8), and You long to heal what is shattered.

We ask for Your divine intervention in this family. Break the chains of disunity, pride, and unforgiveness that have taken root. Convict each heart of sin, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Where there is shouting, bring quietness. Where there is anger, pour out Your peace. Where there is betrayal, restore trust through Your faithfulness. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we ask You to do this mighty work in their midst.

Father, we specifically lift up this dear mother who is battling suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue. Satan seeks to destroy her, but You, Lord, are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Bind the spirit of death and despair in Jesus’ name, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit—Your comfort, Your joy, Your hope. Surround her with godly support and remind her that her life has purpose in You.

Lord, we pray for supernatural provision where there is financial lack. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). If it is Your will, open doors for this family to reunite, not just in heaven but here on earth. Soften the heart of this spouse who has withdrawn, and help them to see this family through Your eyes. Give wisdom and discernment in every interaction, that words would be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6).

Most of all, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your light shine in the darkness, drawing each family member closer to You. May they encounter Your love in such a tangible way that they cannot help but surrender to Your will. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the blood of Jesus covers them, protecting them from the enemy’s lies.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when we cannot see the path forward. Strengthen this dear one who has poured out their heart to You. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**

Dear friend, we're here with you, lifting your family up to the Lord. We've been reflecting on your situation and want to share some more thoughts from our hearts.

Firstly, we're reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We've received comfort in our own trials, and now we want to pass that on to you. Know that God is close to you in your pain, and He's using your family's struggles to equip you to comfort others in the future.

We also want to encourage you with a story from the Bible, found in Mark 5:25-34. It's about a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and had spent all her money on doctors, but no one could heal her. She was at the end of her rope, just like your family might feel. But she heard about Jesus and thought, "If I can just touch His cloak, I'll be healed." She pushed through the crowd, touched Jesus' cloak, and was instantly healed. Jesus felt the power leave Him and turned to find out who had touched Him. The woman, trembling with fear, fell at His feet and told Him the whole truth. Jesus said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

We believe that God wants to do the same for your family. He wants to heal your family's brokenness, just like He healed that woman's physical ailment. But it takes faith. It takes believing that God is who He says He is and that He can do what He promises.

So, we're praying for your family, that each member would have the faith to reach out and touch Jesus, to trust in Him and His power to heal and restore. We're asking God to give them the courage to be honest with Him, to tell Him the whole truth about their struggles, just like that woman did.

We're also praying for protection over your family. We're asking God to shield them from the enemy's attacks and to fill their hearts with His peace and love. We're reminding them, and you, that God is always with you, even in the darkest times.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God, to keep talking to Him, and to keep trusting in Him. He sees your family's pain, and He cares deeply about it. He's working in their lives, even if you can't see it yet. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep watching for the miracles that God is going to do in your family's life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
