We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting up your family and the heavy burdens you carry. The attacks you face are not merely from flesh and blood, but from spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we know that our God is greater, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will thwart every scheme of the enemy and bring justice, redemption, and protection to your household.
The Word of God declares in Proverbs 21:30, *"There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Yahweh."* Every plan formed against you and your loved ones will fail when aligned against the will of God. We pray that the Lord will expose and dismantle every evil intention, turning what was meant for harm into good (Genesis 50:20). May He place a hedge of protection around you, your spouse, and your children, shielding you from the moral suffering and consequences of sin that seek to entangle you.
We also lift up your husband’s family, asking the Lord to break the chains of sin that bind them. Their hearts are in the hands of the Father, and we pray for a mighty work of conviction and repentance. *"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17). May the Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives, drawing them out of darkness and into the light of Christ. Their battles are not against you, but against the spiritual forces that have deceived them. We pray they will turn from their wicked ways and seek the Lord while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6-7).
For you and your family, we claim the promise of Psalm 91: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day"* (Psalm 91:1, 4-5). The Lord sees your suffering, and He will not allow you to be crushed beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Trust in His mercy, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We must also address something vital: in your request, the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the authority to pray effectively. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is through this relationship with Christ that you can stand firm in spiritual warfare, clothed in His righteousness and protected by His blood.
Finally, we encourage you to forgive those who have wronged you, even as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13). Forgiveness does not excuse their sin, but it releases you from the bondage of bitterness and allows God to move freely in your life. *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this precious sister and her family. Lord, You are a God of justice, mercy, and unfailing love. We ask that You rise up as a mighty warrior against every plan of the enemy formed against them. Frustrate the schemes of the wicked and let their evil intentions come to nothing. Protect this family from harm—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Shield them from the moral suffering and consequences of sin that seek to overtake them.
Lord, we pray for the salvation and repentance of her husband’s family. Break the chains of sin that bind them and draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18). Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them encounter Your love in a way that transforms their lives.
Father, we ask for Your mercy to cover this sister, her husband, and her children. Do not let them suffer for the sins of others, but let Your grace be their strength and Your peace their comfort. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered sin and death and holds all authority in heaven and on earth. Let His name be glorified in this situation, and let Your will be done. Amen.
