False Churches With False Pastors, And False Brethren!

False churches with false pastors, and false brethren. We are in the last generation. The generation that will see the rise of the man of sin, the son of perdition, the beast of Revelation. This will also be the generation that will see the coming of the Lord of Lords, and the King of kings in power, and great glory. Now before both revealings take place there will be those who profess to know the Lord Jesus Christ who will fall away from the faith. They will give heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, and the time will come, which it is here now, when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts; shall heap to themselves teachers having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. This is happening right here on this site. There the most High God, that there are those who are the chosen, few, elect who will keep the commands of the Lord, and thus abide in His love. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your deep concern for the state of the church in these last days, and we share your urgency in standing firm on the truth of God’s Word. The Scriptures warn us clearly about the deception that will mark the end times, and we must be vigilant, clinging to sound doctrine and the unchanging truth of the Gospel. The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, "For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables" (2 Timothy 4:3-4 WEB). This is a sobering reality we see unfolding today, and it grieves our hearts to witness the compromise and distortion of biblical truth in many places that claim the name of Christ.

We must also remember that Jesus Himself warned us, "For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones" (Matthew 24:24 WEB). The deception is real, and it is powerful, but we are not left without discernment. The Holy Spirit, who dwells within us, guides us into all truth (John 16:13), and the Word of God is our unshakable foundation. We must test every spirit, every teaching, and every so-called "revelation" against the plumb line of Scripture, for the enemy seeks to distort even the most sacred truths.

Yet even in the midst of this spiritual apostasy, we take heart in the promise that the Lord knows those who are His. "Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, 'The Lord knows those who are his,' and, 'Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness'" (2 Timothy 2:19 WEB). The remnant of true believers, though small in number, will endure to the end, not by their own strength, but by the grace and power of God. We are called to be watchful, prayerful, and steadfast, holding fast to the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3).

We must also be careful not to fall into a spirit of judgment or self-righteousness, for none of us is without sin, and it is only by God’s mercy that we stand. Instead, we are called to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), exhorting one another to faithfulness and warning against deception, but always with humility and a heart for restoration. The goal is not to condemn, but to rescue those who are being led astray, if possible.

Let us also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to divide, discourage, and distract the body of Christ, but we must stand united in prayer, in truth, and in love. We must put on the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

We lift up this concern to the Lord in prayer, asking Him to strengthen His church, to expose deception, and to draw His people back to the truth.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the deception and compromise we see in the church today. We ask You to awaken Your people, Lord, to the truth of Your Word. Raise up faithful shepherds who will feed Your flock with sound doctrine and lead them in righteousness. Expose the false teachers and false prophets who lead Your people astray, and let their deeds be brought to light. Protect the elect, Father, from the snares of the enemy, and give us discernment to recognize the spirit of error.

We pray for those who have been deceived, Lord. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and draw them back to the narrow path that leads to life. Let us not grow weary in well-doing, but strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, even in the face of opposition. Unite Your church in love and truth, that we may be a light in this dark world, pointing others to Jesus Christ, the only way, the truth, and the life.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. It is only through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed from sin. We declare that Jesus is Lord, and we stand firm on the foundation of His Word, trusting in Your promises for the days ahead. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight in your words, the grief over seeing claims of Christ alongside teaching that doesn’t ring true, and the longing for a remnant that stays faithful. It’s a heavy thing to carry, and we don’t take it lightly.

What has steadied us in moments like this is a simple but sure observation: the very ache you feel about false teaching and compromise is itself a mark of a heart that belongs to the Lord. A person who has truly fallen away doesn’t grieve over it, they stop caring. Your concern isn’t a reason to fear; it’s evidence that God’s Spirit is still at work in you, keeping you tender to the truth.

We’ve found it helps, rather than being consumed by cataloging every wrong teacher or unfaithful movement, to pour that energy into knowing Jesus more deeply. Spend unrushed time in the Gospels, ask the Holy Spirit daily for the gift of discernment, and stay anchored in a local body of believers who love the truth and live it humbly. In that kind of community, we sharpen one another and our own hearts stay warm instead of growing cold.

Lord Jesus, You told us these things would come so that we wouldn’t be caught off guard. Steady our friend now. Turn their eyes from the storm around them to the peace that is in You. Give them wisdom to navigate these confusing times, and by Your grace keep them standing firm in the love and sound teaching You have given us. In Your name we pray, amen.

The howl of your soul against the false and the counterfeit echoes the groan of all who love the truth as it is in Jesus. It has ever been so, even from the days when the apostle wept over those who were enemies of the cross of Christ. The direst calamity the church can dread is not the assault of outside foes, but the treachery of false brothers and sisters within the camp. When the son of perdition is at last revealed, it will be but the ripened fruit of that spirit of antichrist which already works in every age, whispering peace where there is no peace, and daubing the wall with untempered mortar.

Yet let your heart be steadied by this: the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. If there arise false christs and false prophets, so cunning in their signs and wonders that, were it possible, they would deceive the very elect, the impossibility of that final deception is the pillow upon which faith may rest its weary head. The elect are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation. Not one of them shall perish, neither shall any pluck them out of the Father’s hand. This high doctrine of distinguishing grace is no iron cage to lock souls in despair, but a strong tower into which the righteous run and are safe. It digs deep and lets the soul strike its roots downward; it girds us about as with a triple belt of steel, leaving no place for the arrow of infidelity to wound us.

Beware of fixing your gaze so long upon the creeping vipers of false profession that you forget to look unto Jesus. The best preservative against poison is to feed upon the wholesome food of sound doctrine. That form of sound words must ever put the crown upon the head of Christ and abase the pride of man. If a doctrine tickles the ear and gives a little liberty to the flesh, if it makes sin a trifle and the atonement a mere sentiment, then Bel bows down, Nebo stoops, it is a burden to the weary beast and will soon go into captivity. All false confidences shall pass away. The idols of modern doubt, the gilded images of self-sufficiency, the whole synagogue of Satan that calls itself a church, these shall be broken in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

But what of your own soul? Let no one imagine that a jealous zeal against the error of others will serve as a passport to glory. God grant that if your religion is a sham, you may find it out now! There is a false way that seemeth right, a self-justification that is self-condemning. Have you ever weighed your own words in the balances of the sanctuary? Have you never used false words, or harbored false affections? Come to the law and be judged. That law will strip every fig leaf away and leave the sinner speechless. Yet here is the balm for the wounded conscience: the doctrine that humbles man in the dust is the very doctrine that sets him in the right place to receive grace. Him that cometh to Christ, with no other plea than his own emptiness, he will by no means cast out. This high wall of election has a broad gate at its base, wide enough for the chief of sinners. The Father’s decree has not blocked the way to the cross; it has paved it.

And so, though you mourn the havoc wrought by wolves in sheep’s clothing, mourn not as one who has no hope. The Great Shepherd of Israel still lives, and he leads us still, and feeds us still, and guards us still. He has borne, and he will bear. Even now, in the secret places of the earth, there is a remnant according to the election of grace, a people who sigh and cry for all the abominations done in the land. They may be hidden, like David among the wild goats of Engedi, but in that very hiding they are being fashioned for a throne. By their humble walk, their simple trust, and their love for the truth, they are made manifest as the children of God.

Do you desire to be numbered among them? Then pray your God to search you and know your heart; try you and know your thoughts. Cast away all confidence in outward forms and inward feelings, and flee to Jesus now. The blood of the covenant can wash out the deepest stain of hypocrisy. Trust a full atonement. Rest in a finished work. And let your loins be girded about with the truth, for the time is short. The Lord of lords is coming, and his reward is with him. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak truly that many now turn from sound doctrine, heaping up teachers who tickle their ears rather than instructing the soul. This is no new affliction, for the devil sows his poisons in every age, making men prefer fables that excuse their lusts over the truth that demands repentance. But do not be shaken: the Lord knows those who are His, and the elect will keep His commands, not by their own strength, but by abiding in His love through a good conscience and a faithful life.

Yet beware, lest in discerning false shepherds you neglect your own soul. For a teacher must first teach himself. If Timothy, who surpassed us all, still required commands and instruction, how much more do we? The shipwreck of faith begins not with false churches outside, but with a corrupt life within. When we do not live what we profess, we make way for doctrines of demons. Guard yourself: hold fast to the faith and a good conscience, so that you may stand firm and help others.

Do not waste your energy contending with perverse men who peddle profane and old wives' fables. Refuse them, for to dispute endlessly is to give them a platform. Instead, be nourished in the words of faith, preaching the truth with boldness and certainty, as one who knows what he believes. The world will accuse us of turning things upside down, but by patience and a blameless life we overcome, showing ourselves as true servants of the King.

The time is short, but the Lord grants more than deliverance from suffering: He enables us to despise death itself. Fix your mind on the resurrection and the judgment to come. There lies the hope of the chosen few, not in speculation about the beast, but in the certain coming of the Lord of glory.

What you are seeing is not new, and it should not surprise us. The Scriptures warned plainly that as the return of Christ draws near, the spiritual landscape would be marked by deception. Many will profess to know the Lord but will fall away, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. Their ears will turn from the truth, and they will heap up teachers who tell them what their own lusts want to hear rather than what God has said. This is exactly the season the apostles described, and you are right to recognize it.

The most dangerous part is that these wolves do not appear with warning signs. They come in sheep’s clothing, looking like the flock, using the vocabulary of the faithful. A false teacher does not announce his error openly. He comes privately with destructive heresies, often denying the Lord who bought him while still using His name. That is why we must be discerning. You will know them by their fruit, and part of that fruit is what they do with the doctrine of Christ. Anyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, who denies that Jesus is God come in the flesh, who refuses sound doctrine, does not have God. If someone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, you are not even to receive him into your house. The command is clear: we are to test the spirits and separate from those who teach what is false.

The motives of such men are often laid bare. Many are in it for dishonest gain, for the love of money, for preeminence among the people. They speak great swelling words of vanity, offering false assurance while promising liberty. They are clouds without water, and their teaching leaves people spiritually empty. The simple gospel of Jesus Christ gets twisted into something complicated and man-centered, and minds are drawn away from the purity of devotion to Him. Yet you have named the anchor that holds: the chosen, the elect, those who keep His commands. That is the key. To abide in His love is to keep His Word. Sound doctrine is not an abstraction. It is the foundation for a life that pleases God, teaching us to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.

Do not be dismayed that this is happening, even in places like this site. The mystery of lawlessness has been at work since the beginning. The false apostles and deceitful workers only transform themselves into angels of light because their master does the same. But the Lord knows those who are His. Your task is to hold fast to what you have heard from the beginning, to test every teaching against the plumb line of Scripture, and to keep the commandments of God. That is the will of the Father. Many will cry out, “Lord, Lord,” but the only ones who enter the kingdom are those who do His will. Stand firm. Your hope is not in the integrity of institutions or the sincerity of any man. Your hope is in Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, who will soon appear with power to make all things right.
