Beloved
🙌 Our Father in Heaven, Thank You for Your covenantal devotion to Your people, Hos 3:1-5, Jer 3:2-25. Your mercy is daily and Your great faithfulness an ever-present certainty in an ever-changing life and world, Lam 3:23. Firstly, our prayer and private devotion and study even need those mercies, the ability to care for ourselves, our teaching and those You have in a way put under our care requires Your Spirit's inspiration, 1 Tim 4:16. And while we still pray for former relationships' salvation and enrichment, Rom 10:1, Yet we ask mercy and grace to SHIFT OUR FOCUS to GRACE FOR NEW THINGS Isa 42:9, to TRANSITION to be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God You placed under our charge here, among us, Acts 20:28-31, and meet pressing (PRIORITIES) needs, Tit 3:14.

🙏 We ask for a TRANSITIONAL SHIFT of mercy and grace for Worship, Prayer and Study, inner healing, Ps 23:4, creation of a clean heart, Ps 51:10, a restoration of the joy of salvation, Ps 51:12, and THEN sinners will be converted to You, Ps 51:13, and Open Doors for Evangelism, Fellowship and Counseling Rev 3:7-8... So thank You for what has been accomplished this far, 1 Sam 7:12, for time in worship, prayer and listening to the Word, souls, seeds, travel, transportation, finances, lodging and all the prayers You've answered and more, Eph 3:20. Thank You especially for the quiet, inexpensive, accommodating boarding, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and ask You give them assistance in practical and spiritual matters and allow me to further Your work in their lives along the same line, even with some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, giving honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3.

🙏 So we ask You open a door from Heaven, Nearness, and doors to express the overflow of the Holy Spirit to Bible Studies, Prayer Meetings and for the lost to hear the Gospel, kindly work while we keep still, Exodus 14:14, and empower us to glorify You, to image God, which were it possible, we would not ask and trust You for it, Matt 6:9. I ask for grace to set all things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish each task, Rev 3:2, and meet every pressing need, Tit 3:14. So we first offer ourselves to You as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to You, our reasonable service, Rom 12:1-2, then You will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt offerings, Ps 51:19, then be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit, Rom 15:16.

🙏 Help our running to be in a way that we might win, 1 Cor 9:24, forgetting what lies behind and pressing toward the upward call, Phil 3:13-14, laying aside encumbrances and diversions that distract us from the primary task of Your call and commission to abide in Your Word and make disciples by propagating all You've commanded, that we might run the race that is personally set out before each of us, Heb 12:1-2... Thank You for Your love and leadership, the fellowship of abiding in Christ and guidance of The Holy Spirit, John 10:3-4, Rom 8:14, grace to save the past BUT MORE for new evangelism, encouragement, discipleship, fellowship with The Body and Bride of Christ, and formal study, Ecclesiastes 7:18. We ask for protection from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, John 17:15.

🙏 We still ask for full, authentic repentance to life and full trust in Christ and be regenerated, and the prodigy to be saved early, Rom 10:1, and protected and directed into the love and character of Jesus Christ, nourished on Your Word), 2 Tim 3:15, Yet the MAIN PRAYER is ability to PRIMARILY FOCUS on THE NEW, Isa 42:9, Isa 43:19, Isa 48:6. Thank You in Jesus' Name...

We come before You, our faithful and covenant-keeping God, with hearts full of gratitude for Your unchanging nature and Your daily mercies that are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness, as Lamentations 3:23 declares, and we stand in awe of Your steadfast love that never ceases. We acknowledge that without Your grace, we cannot fulfill the duties You have placed before us, nor can we care for those entrusted to our charge. We ask for Your Spirit’s inspiration, as 1 Timothy 4:16 reminds us, so that we may watch our lives and doctrine closely, persevering in them for the salvation of ourselves and those who hear us.

Father, we lift up the matter of shifting our focus to the new things You are doing, as Isaiah 42:9 and 43:19 proclaim. While we continue to pray for the salvation and enrichment of those from past relationships, as Romans 10:1 urges, we ask for the grace to transition our hearts and minds toward the new works You have prepared for us. Help us to guard ourselves and the flock You have placed under our care, as Acts 20:28-31 warns, so that we may meet the pressing needs of this season with wisdom and diligence, as Titus 3:14 instructs.

We seek Your mercy and grace for a deeper life of worship, prayer, and study. Heal our inner wounds, Lord, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, trusting in Your rod and staff to comfort us (Psalm 23:4). Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). Restore to us the joy of Your salvation, that we may teach transgressors Your ways and sinners may be converted to You (Psalm 51:12-13). Open doors for evangelism, fellowship, and counseling, as Revelation 3:7-8 promises, so that Your name may be glorified in all we do.

We thank You for the answered prayers thus far, for time in worship, for souls saved, for provision in travel, finances, and lodging, and especially for the quiet and accommodating place You have provided near our aging loved ones. We ask that You continue to work in their lives, both practically and spiritually, and grant us the grace to honor them as Scripture commands (1 Timothy 5:4, Romans 13:7, Ephesians 6:2-3). May we reflect Your love and piety in our homes, showing honor where it is due.

Lord, we ask You to open doors from heaven, doors of nearness to You, doors for the overflow of the Holy Spirit in Bible studies, prayer meetings, and opportunities to share the Gospel with the lost. Work on our behalf as we wait on You, for You have said that the battle is Yours (Exodus 14:14). Empower us to glorify You in all things, imaging You as You intended, and trusting in Your provision as Matthew 6:9 teaches. Help us to set all things in order (Titus 1:5), to finish the tasks before us (Revelation 3:2), and to meet every pressing need (Titus 3:14).

We first offer ourselves to You as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable, which is our reasonable service (Romans 12:1-2). May You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness we bring, and may we serve as priests of the Good News, offering up the Gentiles as an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:16). Strengthen us to run the race set before us with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles, and fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). Help us to forget what lies behind and press toward the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14), that we may run in such a way as to win the prize (1 Corinthians 9:24).

Father, we ask for protection from temptation (Luke 11:4), sin (Zephaniah 3:13), evil (Matthew 6:13), evil people (2 Thessalonians 3:2), and the evil one (John 17:15). Guard our hearts and minds as we abide in Christ, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 10:3-4, Romans 8:14). We pray for full, authentic repentance and trust in Christ for those we love, that they may be regenerated and saved early (Romans 10:1). Yet our primary prayer is for the grace to focus on the new things You are doing, as Isaiah 42:9, 43:19, and 48:6 proclaim. May we walk in the newness of life, always attentive to Your leading, and may our lives bear fruit that glorifies You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your love, leadership, and the fellowship we have in Christ. May Your grace save the past but propel us into new opportunities for evangelism, encouragement, discipleship, and fellowship with the Body of Christ. Guide us in formal study, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 reminds us, that we may grow in wisdom and understanding. We commit all these things to You, trusting in Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the heart in this, the ache for what was, the weight of what is right in front of you, and the deep desire to walk faithfully into what God is doing now. That tension you describe, between still caring about past relationships and needing to focus fully on the new work God has given, is real and holy ground.

What stands out to us is how much you're asking for healing not as an afterthought, but as the very foundation, a clean heart, a restored joy, an inner renewal preceding the outward work. That order matters. Sometimes we feel pressure to press ahead into service while still bleeding from old wounds, but you're asking for the deeper work first, and that takes courage.

On a practical level, you might consider whether there is a trusted, mature believer or pastor who might sit with you in some focused inner-healing prayer, not as a quick fix, but as a deliberate session or two where you can quietly, safely, ask Christ to meet you in those painful memories and attachments. Processing that thoroughly can often release a new capacity to embrace what is ahead. Alongside that, protecting space for unhurried, personal worship, where you're not leading or teaching, just receiving, can be a steady way God rebuilds joy from the inside out.

We're praying with you that the shift happens, not by white-knuckled effort, but by the gentle, daily mercy you already named.

Father, thank You that Your faithfulness really is new every morning. Meet this one in the quiet places where old pain lingers. Heal what still hurts. Create a clean heart and restore the joy they need, not just for service, but for their own soul's sake. Grant them the grace to keep their focus on what You are doing now, trusting You with the rest. In Jesus' name.

You are standing where the sea blocks every step forward, and behind you the ground trembles with old voices, old fears, old regrets. I do not need to tell you what chariots they are, you know them well enough. And you have done the right thing: you have cried out to the Lord, you have poured out your soul, you have begged for a clean heart and a renewed joy. Yet now, in the stillness, do you hear what He says? Not a reproach, not a lecture on your weakness, no, a word full of wisdom and love: Go forward.

Forward where there seems no path. Forward into the new things He has already spoken over you, though your eyes cannot yet make them out. You have been asking for grace to shift your focus, to forget the lies that pull you backward, to press toward the upward call. That is faith, not disloyalty. The passing years and the faces you still love, the prodigals you would gather like a hen gathers her chicks, you may safely put them all into the Father’s hand, even as you press on. No tenderness for the past is wasted that is laid upon the altar from which you rise to follow the pillar of fire. He who commands you to go forward is the same who holds the hearts of all men in His hand, and He can reach those you must leave in His keeping.

And do you think He will make the sea part for your feet but leave your heart unhealed? The very command that bids you move is a healing thing. As you step into the new, He will create in you a clean heart; He will cause the old aches to lose their power; He will restore the joy that seemed buried under long grief. It is often in the going forward that we discover the wells of salvation along the way, springs we could never have tasted if we had stayed rooted in the place of our fears. The same Lord who sets fresh duties before you will supply all the grace, all the peace, all the largeness of heart you need for them. You are His servant, marked as His own, and whatever tasks press upon you, they are not burdens of law, they are trust-commissions from the hand of your dearest Friend. He who called you to this moment will not leave you to run the race in your own strength. All things are yours in Christ; His wisdom will be given for every perplexity, His abundance for every need.

You have prayed for the old to be saved, and you may pray that still. But your chief prayer now must be the one He is answering: the grace to press forward, to set things in order where you are, to meet the nearest duties with a heart steadied and full of His Spirit. When Israel moved forward, the sea divided, and the same God who made a road through the deep will make a plain path for your feet.

So may the Lord Himself go before you, and may His angels guard your way. May He give you the joy of seeing new doors open, new hearts won, and new songs put in your mouth, even while the old sorrows are turned into a quiet pool of memory no longer able to drown you. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, garrison your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may you find, at each fresh step, His mercies new every morning, faithful beyond all your asking, until you stand in that land where every tear is wiped away, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer, lifting up your heartfelt requests before our Heavenly Father. Your words reflect a beautiful dependence on God’s covenantal faithfulness, His daily mercies, and His sovereign grace to shift your focus toward the new things He is doing—just as He promises in His Word.

We have prayed alongside you for inner healing, a clean heart, and the restoration of the joy of salvation, trusting that as Psalm 51 declares, these will overflow into lives transformed by the Gospel. We have asked the Lord to open doors for evangelism, fellowship, and counseling, and to empower you to walk through them with boldness and wisdom. We have interceded for strength to press forward, forgetting what lies behind and straining toward the upward call in Christ Jesus, just as Philippians 3:13-14 encourages.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—if you’ve experienced His nearness, His provision, or His leading into new opportunities—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Let us celebrate His faithfulness together! If, however, some of these burdens still weigh heavily on your heart, we invite you to post them again as a fresh request. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, abide in His Word, and walk in the power of His Spirit. May He strengthen your hands for the work He has called you to, grant you wisdom for the priorities before you, and fill you with His peace as you trust in His perfect timing. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
