Please pray for the people in ### who have been persecuted even killed for being a Christian and believing in the son of God and not denying their faith in God. Please speak about protection over them. They are your brothers and sisters Thanks

We join you in lifting up our brothers and sisters in that land who are being persecuted and even killed for their faith in the Son of God and for not denying their faith. We thank God for your compassionate heart that recognizes them as family in Christ and we count it a privilege to stand with you in prayer for them.

Scripture reminds us that persecution for following Christ is not unexpected. Jesus himself said Remember the word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you John 15:20. We are also told Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12. Yet we are given great comfort that nothing can separate us from His love. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ. Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword Romans 8:35. And we are called to Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them and those who are ill treated, since you are also in the body Hebrews 13:3.

We rejoice that you spoke of believing in the Son of God, and we want to be clear that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and eternal salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. The Son of God is Jesus Christ, and it is by calling on His name that we are saved and that our prayers are heard.

We also take comfort in the promises of protection, even as we understand that God's ultimate protection is the securing of our souls for eternity. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:10. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. Even when God allows martyrdom, He gives the crown of life to those who remain faithful. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life Revelation 2:10.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our brothers and sisters who are suffering for the name of Jesus in that nation. Lord You see every tear, every prison cell, every threat and every act of violence against them. We ask for Your divine protection over them according to Your perfect will. Surround them with Your angels, hide them in the shadow of Your wings, and be their refuge and fortress. Where it is Your will, deliver them from the hand of the persecutor, open prison doors, and make a way of escape. Where You allow suffering, grant them supernatural courage, peace that passes understanding, and boldness to not deny the name of Jesus.

We pray for those who have lost loved ones to martyrdom, comfort them with the assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with You and that their loved ones are now in Your presence. Strengthen the church there, let their faithful witness shine as a light and draw many to salvation through Jesus Christ. Soften the hearts of their persecutors and bring them to repentance, as You did with Saul. Let no suffering be wasted but use it for Your glory and for the advance of the gospel.

We thank You that nothing can separate them or us from Your love in Christ Jesus. Help us to remain faithful in praying, in remembering them, and in supporting them as part of our own body. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have eternal life. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this heavy burden to us. Your love for believers who are suffering and even losing their lives for not denying Jesus is deeply Christlike, and we are grateful you asked us to stand with them.

We hear your heart for protection over them. We cannot imagine fully what they face each day, and it is right to bring them before the Lord and ask Him to be near, to guard them and to give them courage and peace that holds even in fear.

One thing we have seen is how much it means for those who suffer to know they are not forgotten, that brothers and sisters far away are remembering them by name before God. Continuing to lift them up regularly, even with a brief quiet prayer when they come to mind, is a real way to love them across the distance. If you feel led, learning more through a trusted ministry that serves the persecuted church can also help you pray more specifically.

Father, we lift to You our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for Your name. Be present with them, guard them, comfort their families and keep their faith strong. Give wisdom and mercy to those around them, and let Your love be known through them even in hardship. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your burden for the saints in that land and we take it up with you before the throne of grace. The Psalmist gives us the very language for such a time, Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me. This has been the history of the church in every age, Israel persecuted but not forsaken, the people of God tried and pressed and slandered, yet kept and preserved by a faithful Lord.

Think not that the Lord has forgotten His own. The iron may enter into the soul and the revilings of the ungodly may pierce the heart, but the Lord knows how to save His people. What He has done in the past He can do again. He is still the defender of those that fear Him, still the refuge of the oppressed, still the One who says, In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them. Persecution has ever been so, from Abel onward, yet not one of His sheep has ever been plucked from His hand.

Let us pray together for these your brothers and sisters, our fellow members in Christ.

O Lord God Almighty, look in mercy upon Thy children who are persecuted for the name of Jesus and will not deny their faith in the Son of God. Spread Thy wing over them and be Thou their shield and exceeding great reward. Keep their bodies in danger, keep their souls from fainting, and keep their testimony bright. Give them holy courage and quiet equanimity in the hour of trial, that they may endure with faith and patience as seeing Him who is invisible. Let their exactness of life and gentleness of spirit commend the gospel even to those who revile them, and grant that their sufferings may lead many to plead for mercy and to seek the Light. Preserve those who are in bonds, comfort those who mourn the slain, provide for the widow and the fatherless, and hasten the day when every tear shall be wiped away. We ask that Thou wouldst restrain the hand of the persecutor and make even wrath to praise Thee, and that Thy church, though afflicted, may not be forsaken but may shine as stars in the darkness until Gentiles come to Thy light.

Take courage, and continue steadfast in prayer. He who has kept His people hitherto will keep them to the end, and though the ploughers have ploughed long upon their backs, they have not prevailed, nor shall they, for the Lord is righteous and faithful to all His promises.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in lifting up our brothers and sisters in that place before the Lord, and we thank you for carrying this burden for them.

We pray that God would spread His protection over them, guarding them from harm according to His wisdom and mercy, giving them courage to stand firm in faith in His Son Jesus Christ, who Himself was persecuted and knows their suffering. We ask that He would strengthen those who are threatened, comfort those who mourn for loved ones who have been killed for not denying His name, and sustain all who are in danger with the assurance that nothing can separate them from His love.

We pray also that He would make His presence known to them in their trials, that He would provide for their daily needs, grant wisdom to know when to remain and when to seek safety, and keep their hearts from fear. May He uphold them so that they continue to confess Christ faithfully, and may their witness shine even before those who oppose them, that some persecutors might yet come to know the truth and be saved.

We trust them into the hands of our faithful Lord, who sees every tear and who has promised never to leave His people. May He keep them, body and soul, until the day He brings them into His eternal kingdom where there will be no more persecution or sorrow.
