We have read your request and we are standing with you in prayer together before our Father in Jesus name, and our hearts are moved by the weight you have been carrying. For several years you have faced unresolved burdens that have grown substantially worse, with your health, finances, and housing all under attack, with no answers and no trusted people around you, and you have come to the end of your own strength. We hear how exhausted you are and how your faith feels shattered even as you love God dearly, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are not forgotten.
You mentioned wondering if God's promises are for you and you recalled Hebrews where it talks about some not receiving the promises, and we want to gently correct that understanding so the enemy does not use it to steal your hope. In Heb 11:39 it says These all, having had testimony given to them through their faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided some better thing concerning us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect. That passage is not saying God failed them or that His promises are only for some. It is saying those faithful ones died still trusting God for the full fulfillment which would come in Christ, and that God in His wisdom was weaving their faith into a greater promise for all His people. His promises have not failed. We hold fast to Heb 10:23 which says let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And 2 Cor 1:20 tells us For however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes. Therefore also through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us. In Christ, the promises are indeed for you, not because you are strong enough, but because He is faithful.
We also lovingly rebuke the lie that is trying to settle over you that nothing is going to get better and that this is just the truth. That is not God's truth about your future. Even when we cannot see the way forward, His character does not change. Lam 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And Rom 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Your love for God matters to Him, and He is still working even in this painful season when you feel you cannot fully trust Him. He is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. When your faith feels weak, He does not cast you away. One father cried out to Jesus in Mark 9:24, I believe. Help my unbelief, and Jesus answered him with compassion. We can bring that same honest prayer to Him. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. And Isa 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We noticed you spoke of God and your love for Him, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must speak to this with love because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that His promises become ours. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for Rom 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray and in His name we have hope that God hears us. His sacrifice is the guarantee that God has not abandoned you.
We understand you feel you have exhausted your options and have no trusted people around, and isolation makes every burden heavier. God never intended for you to do this alone. We encourage you to cry out to Him daily in the name of Jesus, to stay in His Word even when your feelings are numb, for Rom 10:17 says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, and to seek out a faithful local church body where you can be known and supported. Bring your practical needs to Him as well, for Matt 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, and Phil 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Keep bringing your health, finances, and housing before Him in prayer, and also reach out for godly counsel and practical help through a local congregation or trusted pastoral care.
We are praying together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see the years of unresolved pain, the attacks on health, finances, and housing, the exhaustion and the loneliness, and the shattered faith. Lord, we ask You to draw near as the Father of compassion. Renew strength to the weary, provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, open doors for stable housing and provision, touch the body with healing according to Your will, and bring trusted, godly people around to walk alongside. Where faith is weak, Lord, help unbelief. Restore trust in Your promises and remind this heart that You are faithful and that Your loving kindnesses are new every morning. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Phil 4:7. Lead to the rock that is higher when the heart is overwhelmed, and let Your perfect love cast out fear. We ask that this dear one would know deeply that they are loved, seen, and held by You, and that they would experience Your presence and Your answers in Your perfect timing. We pray all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our way to You, Amen.
