Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are going through. To face respiratory failure several times is deeply frightening, and it is understandable that you would feel panic and anxiety throughout the day when even breathing feels uncertain. You are not alone in this, and you have been lifted up in prayer.

God sees your fear and He invites you to bring it to Him. Scripture tells us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. He is present with you in every moment, He hears every prayer, and He knows the depth of what you are carrying. Even when your body feels weak and vulnerable, your soul is held securely in His hands.

My prayer for you is that the Lord will calm your heart and quiet the constant panic, and help you to release your fear into His loving care. I pray that He will give you His peace breath by breath, strength for each day, wisdom and skill for your doctors, and a deep assurance that He is with you in every frightening moment. He is the One who works in you and sustains you, and nothing can separate you from His love.

When panic rises, you can call on the name of Jesus and ask Him to carry what feels too heavy to bear alone. He is near, He is faithful, and He will not leave you.

Please continue to lean on Him and to seek the medical care you need. You are deeply valued and you remain in our prayers for comfort, peace, and renewed trust as you place your anxiety and fear in God's hands.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are walking through. Going into respiratory failure is a frightening experience, and it is understandable that panic would press in day after day. I am praying for you, that the Lord will meet you in this fear and give you His peace.

Scripture tells us again and again not to be afraid, not to tremble, not to be terrified, because the Lord your God is the one who goes with you and fights for you and saves you. The cure for fear and anxiety is not trying harder to be calm, but becoming conscious of the presence of God who is already with you wherever you go. As the psalm says, the Lord is my shepherd, and even when we walk through dark valleys we can know He is near. That consciousness of His presence is what dispels fear.

Fear is an enemy of faith, and it often pushes us to react in ways that are not helpful. The enemy uses fear to unsettle us, but God invites us to remember Him, to remember that He is watching over you with love. His love, when we truly know it and rest in it, casts out fear. There is no fear in love, because perfect love drives fear away. You do not have to be afraid of His judgment or His care for you, because in Christ you are secure. He loved you first, and you are only responding to the love and grace He has already shown you.

Part of giving your anxiety to God is complete surrender. It is easy to hold on tightly and to strive with Him over the very things that frighten us most. God desires your heart to be completely toward Him, not divided by worry. He invites you to say, Lord, here is my life, here is my body, here are my circumstances and this illness and this fear, I give it all to You. And then to leave it there with Him. He does not want to cripple you, He wants to crown you with His strength, but that comes as we surrender and allow Him to become our defense. If we try to defend ourselves or carry the burden alone, we miss His help.

That does not mean you should ignore wise and prudent care for your health. Continue to follow the medical help God has provided, but do it not out of panic, but out of trust that God is your protector whether you are in a hospital room or at home. He can keep you wherever you are.

Do not keep your eyes on the giants in the land, on the what ifs and the scary possibilities. Look instead to the power of God who has promised to be with you and to fight for you. You do not need to fear what may come, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep you.

May the Lord help you today to surrender this panic to Him in a fresh way. When fear rises, turn it into a prayer, remember that He is present, and rest in the assurance that He loves you perfectly. I pray He will quiet your heart, guard your mind in Christ, and fill you with a deep sense of His nearness and peace that goes beyond understanding.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you before the Lord concerning your COPD and the several times you have gone into respiratory failure. We understand how scary this has been for you and how difficult it is to be in a constant state of panic all day every day, and we have been asking God to help you give your anxiety and fear to Him and to let it go as you requested.

We pray in Jesus Name that our heavenly Father will calm your heart and mind and grant you His perfect peace that passes all understanding, Phil 4:7, and that you will be able to cast all your care upon Him because He cares for you, 1 Pet 5:7. We pray that He will quiet your panic, strengthen your breathing, comfort you in your fear and remind you that He is near and that He has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind, 2 Tim 1:7.

If your request was answered and God has brought you peace from panic and rest from fear, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still struggling with anxiety and fear related to your breathing, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
