Disciple of Prayer
My faithbis growing thinner by the day. I have prayed and I have begged God to help and im running out of time to fix this. My depression is growing deeper and deeper everyday and no matter how often I cry out to God im still in the same place I was. Im losing hope and im scared. I need his miracle and inneed it soon. Please pray for me im really struggling and I dont think he is listening to me anymore. Thank you!

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. The fact that you are still reaching out—even in the midst of your pain—shows that there is a flicker of faith still burning within you, and that is something to hold onto. The enemy wants you to believe that God has turned His back on you, but that is a lie. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He has not abandoned you, even if it feels that way. Your feelings do not dictate His faithfulness.

We understand how overwhelming depression can be, how it can cloud your vision and make it difficult to see God’s hand at work. But take heart, beloved, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). Depression is a real battle, but it is not one you have to face without the armor of God. Put on the belt of truth—God’s Word is true, even when your emotions scream otherwise. Hold up the shield of faith—even if it feels as small as a mustard seed right now, it is enough. And wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Speak His promises over yourself, even if you don’t feel them yet.

You mentioned that you feel like you’re running out of time. We want to gently remind you that God’s timing is not our timing. He is never late, and He is never early—He is always right on time. What feels like delay to us is often His protection or preparation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). He sees you, and He knows the desires of your heart. He is working, even when you cannot see it.

We also want to encourage you to seek help if you haven’t already. God often uses people—counselors, pastors, brothers and sisters in Christ—to bring healing and support. There is no shame in asking for help. In fact, it is wise and courageous. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to stand with you in prayer and encouragement.

Now, let us address something important: you said you don’t think God is listening to you anymore. This is a lie from the enemy, designed to pull you further into despair. The truth is, God *always* hears His children. The Bible tells us that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16). If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you are righteous in His sight, and your prayers matter to Him. He collects your tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8)—that’s how precious you are to Him. Even when it feels like heaven is silent, He is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, or if you’re unsure whether you’ve truly given Him lordship over your life, we urge you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we can come to the Father. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you’ve never done that, or if you’ve wandered away, now is the time to turn to Him with all your heart. He is waiting with open arms.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, and we ask that You would meet her in this place of deep despair. Lord, she is crying out to You, and we know that You hear her. You see every tear, You know every fear, and You are not distant—You are near. Father, we rebuke the spirit of depression and hopelessness that is trying to take hold of her. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for it has no authority over her. She belongs to You, and You have plans for her—plans for good and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask that You would renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When she feels weak, be her strength. When she feels alone, be her comfort. When she feels hopeless, be her hope.

Father, we pray that You would surround her with Your love and Your truth. Open her eyes to see the lies of the enemy for what they are, and replace them with Your Word. Let her heart be flooded with Your light, even in this dark season. Restore her joy, Lord, and give her a song in the night (Job 35:10). Help her to trust in You, even when she cannot see the way forward.

We also pray for godly community to come around her—people who will lift her up, pray with her, and remind her of Your faithfulness. If she needs professional help, Lord, lead her to the right person who can walk with her toward healing. Give her the courage to reach out and the humility to accept support.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would perform a miracle in her life. Not because she demands it, but because You are a God who delights in showing Yourself strong on behalf of those who love You (2 Chronicles 16:9). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to wait on You with expectation.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we want to leave you with this: do not give up. Even if you can’t see it, God is at work. Keep crying out to Him. Keep clinging to His Word. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. And remember, we are standing with you, believing for your breakthrough. You are not alone. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Hold on to Him, and let Him hold on to you.

My faith is growing thinner by the day. I have prayed and I have begged God to help and I'm running out of time to fix this. My depression is growing deeper and deeper every day and no matter how often I cry out to God I'm still in the same place I was. I'm losing hope and I'm scared. I need His miracle and I need it soon. Please pray for me I'm really struggling and I don't think He is listening to me anymore. Thank you!
He’s still listening, and He loves you so deeply. I’m sorry you’re hurting like this ❤️ I prayed for you in Jesus’ mighty name.

“The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him.”

He hasn’t given up on you, don’t give up on Him ❤️❤️❤️ He’s got you, He will sustain you.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding your hands up in prayer. We know it's tough, but remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still there, it's just behind the clouds. God is still there, He's just behind the clouds of your depression.

We want to encourage you with a story from the Bible. In Matthew 14, Jesus' disciples were in a boat during a storm. The waves were high, and the wind was against them. They were scared and thought they were going to drown. But Jesus was with them, walking on the water. He said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." He then got into the boat with them, and immediately, the wind stopped, and it was calm.

Just like the disciples, you're in a storm right now. But Jesus is there, walking on the water, saying, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." He's not going to let you drown. He's going to get into your boat and calm the storm.

Keep crying out to Him, friend. Keep trusting that He's with you, even when you can't see Him. And remember, we're here with you, believing with you for your breakthrough. You're not alone. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Let's pray together, "Lord, even when I can't see You, help me to trust that You're with me. Help me to take courage and not be afraid. Calm the storm in my life, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen."

But I created this storm and if I were Him I would get tired of saving me too!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
