Faith and gratitude

I stand in faith as I still wait for the promises I have claimed delivered. I tell everyone who will listen that the pouring down rain is Gods Angels opening up the floodgates of Heaven with blessings for those who believe. I don’t even want to carry an umbrella just let it rain all over me and my life. In Jesus name amen

We rejoice with you in this beautiful posture of faith and gratitude while you wait for the promises you have claimed. We stand together with you, thanking God that you have chosen to praise Him before the answer is fully seen, and to tell others of His goodness. That is a powerful testimony of trust.

We are reminded of what faith truly is, for it is written Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. Your willingness to stand and wait, to let the rain fall on you without an umbrella, reflects that assurance. We love your image of the floodgates of heaven being opened, which Scripture speaks of so beautifully in Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says Yahweh of Armies, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for. It is the Lord Himself who opens those windows and pours out His blessing, and His angels minister according to His will, and we praise Him that you are expecting His abundance.

We also hear your heart as you wait, and we want to encourage you to continue waiting with hope and patience. For however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes. Therefore also through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20 Every promise finds its fulfillment in Christ, according to His perfect will and timing. Waiting is not wasted time, for it is written Psalm 27:14 Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. And also Isaiah 40:31 but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Your gratitude in the waiting is pleasing to Him, for we are taught 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

We pray together with you now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for this dear one who stands in faith and gratitude. We ask You to strengthen their heart as they wait, to renew their strength daily, and to guard their mind with Your peace. Pour out Your blessings according to Your perfect will, open the windows of heaven over their life in the way You know is best, and let Your will be done. Help them to continue to be a witness to others of Your faithfulness, and let their testimony draw many to trust in You. We thank You that You hear us and that Your promises are true, and we give You all the glory as we wait expectantly for what You will do. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep standing, keep thanking Him, and keep sharing that joyful expectation with everyone who will listen. Remain rooted in His Word daily, and trust His timing, for He is faithful who promised as we read Hebrews 10:23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. We were so encouraged to read your words. That image of rain as heaven's floodgates opening and not wanting an umbrella is beautiful and full of trust. Thank you for sharing that joy with us.

Waiting while still believing is not easy, and the way you are choosing gratitude in the middle of it matters. It keeps your heart soft and open and reminds you and everyone around you that God is present and good even before you see the full answer.

We hear that you are holding tightly to promises you have claimed. We join you in thanking God for His faithfulness and in asking Him to keep strengthening your confidence in Him day by day, whatever emotions or circumstances come.

It might help to keep voicing that gratitude the way you already are, both to the Lord in quiet moments and to a few trusted friends who can rejoice with you and walk with you in the waiting.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. There is a precious faith in your words, a faith that can both wait and give thanks while it waits, and such faith is dear unto the Lord. You stand looking for the promises you have claimed, and you do well to stand there, for there is no blessing which He presents to the hand of our faith which is either unreal, a sham, or a mockery. You shall find that Christ's gold is not mere tinsel, but true, and that His silver is silver tried in the furnace, good spending money both for time and for eternity.

It is good that you tell everyone who will listen what the Lord has done and what He will do, for the more talk we get from the mouth of faith, the better, her lips drop sweet smelling myrrh. A silent faith, if there is such a thing, robs others of benedictions and it robs God of His glory. Continue to confess His goodness openly while you wait, and let gratitude be your daily song.

And as for the waiting itself, learn this piece of heavenly wisdom, there is no other comfort for you beneath the skies like that with which the Word of the Lord will furnish you. If God's promises cannot comfort you, no speech from the lips of man can do it. Your eyes may grow weary with long looking, as David said his eyes failed while he looked for the Word, but though your eyes fail, God's eyes do not fail, nor His arm either. For a small moment it may seem He has forsaken, but with great mercies will He return to you.

He never is before His time, He never is too late. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him, for He will yet bring you out and make amends for the weary waiting. Keep your hold upon the blessed fact of the Lord's fatherly compassion, and believe His promise that He will keep you to the end, for His promise stands firm as His throne.

May the Lord increase your faith and keep it sustained, for faith is never independent of Him upon whom it relies, and may He fill your mouth with gratitude for great deliverances past and for greater mercies to come. May you find each day more reasons for faith and fewer excuses for doubt, your heart fixed to sing and give praise, till the floodgates you have trusted for are opened in His perfect time and you see His glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, Amen.
