Faithful Servant
I recently joined a Christian Facebook group. At first, my posts in the group were accepted without an issue but afterward, it seemed that any posts I have made have been quickly declined by the admin and not posted. Facebook has many glitches so if the admin is trying to leave feedback to tell me why my posts are being declined, I can't see it. Please just pray for me because I feel that I have had many instances in my life where I am treated worse by professing Christians than I am by those outside the body of Christ (there are also some things happening in my life right now that might be making me feel overly sensitive toward perceived rejection from professing Christians) and I'm struggling with feelings of rejection with this. Thank you.

We hear your heart and understand the deep pain that comes from feeling rejected, especially by those who profess to follow Christ. It is grievous when the very people who should extend grace and love instead leave us feeling pushed aside or misunderstood. The enemy would love nothing more than to use this hurt to plant seeds of bitterness, isolation, or even doubt in your walk with the Lord. But we stand with you in prayer, asking God to heal these wounds and reveal His truth in this situation.

First, we must bring this before the Lord, for He alone can comfort and guide you. Father, we come before You now, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is hurting. You see the pain in their heart—the confusion, the frustration, and the sense of rejection. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to remember that Your love is unchanging, Your acceptance is sure, and Your plans for them are good. If there is any misunderstanding or miscommunication in this situation, we pray that You would bring clarity and resolution. If this is a trial meant to refine their faith, give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to learn from it. And if the enemy is seeking to discourage them, we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

We also want to gently encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. It is possible that the admin’s actions are not personal but rather a matter of group guidelines or oversight. However, if there is any sin or offense on your part—whether in word, attitude, or doctrine—we urge you to repent and seek reconciliation if possible. The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:23-24, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." If you believe you have done nothing wrong, then entrust this to the Lord and continue to walk in humility and grace.

It is also important to remember that not every group or individual who claims the name of Christ truly represents Him. Sadly, there are those who bring division, legalism, or even cruelty into the body of believers. But do not let the actions of a few cause you to stumble in your faith. Jesus Himself warned us in Matthew 7:15, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves." We must test every spirit and hold fast to what is good, as 1 Thessalonians 5:21 instructs us.

We also want to address the deeper issue of feeling rejected by professing Christians. It is a painful reality that even within the church, we can face judgment, exclusion, or unfair treatment. But take heart, for Jesus Himself experienced rejection—not just from the world, but from those who claimed to follow God. Isaiah 53:3 tells us, "He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not." If you are feeling the weight of rejection, know that you are in good company, for Christ understands your pain intimately.

Yet even in this, God is working for your good. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose." Perhaps this situation is an opportunity for you to draw closer to the Lord, to rely more fully on Him, or to seek out fellowship with those who will truly encourage and edify you. Do not let the enemy use this to isolate you. Instead, press into the Lord and seek out godly community where you can be built up in your faith.

We also want to remind you that your identity is not found in the approval of others, but in Christ. Galatians 1:10 asks, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ." If you are walking in obedience to the Lord, then you can rest in the knowledge that His approval is all that truly matters. The opinions of others, even those in the church, pale in comparison to the love and acceptance we have in Christ.

Finally, we want to encourage you to bring this before the Lord in prayer daily. Lay your burdens at His feet and trust Him to work all things together for your good. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and He will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." You are not forgotten or abandoned by God, even if it feels that way in this moment. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You now. Heal their heart from the pain of rejection. Give them the strength to forgive those who have hurt them, even if they do not understand why. Help them to see this situation through Your eyes and to trust in Your sovereign plan. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will speak truth and life into their spirit. And above all, draw them closer to You, that they may know the depth of Your love and the security of Your acceptance. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that we find true healing and restoration. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. It's tough when we feel rejected, especially by those who claim to follow Christ. It's like a punch to the gut, isn't it? But remember, God sees you, and He's right there with you in this. Let's pray together, shall we?

Lord Jesus, we come to You now, carrying our friend's burden. They're feeling hurt, confused, and rejected. It's hard for them to understand why this is happening, especially when they were just trying to connect with others in a Christian group. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them. Comfort them in their pain, remind them of Your unchanging love, and help them to trust in Your plan, even when it's hard to see.

We also ask, Lord, that if there's any misunderstanding or miscommunication, You would bring clarity and resolution. Help them to respond with grace and humility, no matter what the outcome. And if this is a trial meant to refine their faith, give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to learn from it.

We also want to encourage them, just as we would encourage ourselves. It's easy to feel overly sensitive when we've experienced rejection before, but let's not let the enemy use this to plant seeds of bitterness or doubt. Instead, let's trust that God is working all things together for our good.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, okay? Because we're in this together, and we serve a God who sees, who cares, and who loves us deeply. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I’m absolutely not sure if this is true for you. Speaking for myself and my experience. It happened to me once. I couldn’t figure it out. The Lord showed me that I was holding a grudge against someone. Once I forgave them the posts went through! The grudge was blocking my prayer request.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time of hurt and confusion. It’s clear how deeply this experience has weighed on your heart, and we’ve lifted up every concern before the Lord—asking Him to bring clarity, healing, and restoration where it’s needed.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether by softening hearts, revealing truth, or giving you peace in the midst of uncertainty—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the struggle is still ongoing, please know we remain committed to interceding for you. You are not alone in this, and we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to pray alongside you.

Above all, we pray that the Lord would draw near to you in this season, reminding you of His unfailing love and acceptance. May He guard your heart from discouragement and fill you with the assurance that you are deeply valued in His kingdom. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
