We join with you in prayer for healing from these face and body aches and we thank you for your kind prayer for us and for our families and friends, may the Lord bless you richly in return.
We bring your body before the Lord who formed you and who knows every pain you feel. Scripture reminds us to Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We take comfort that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that He has promised For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also pray as John prayed, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
We understand your desire to stay healthy for all of your life and we join in asking God for strength, protection, and many years of health to serve Him. At the same time we remember that we live in a fallen world where our bodies grow weary and are subject to illness and aging, yet God sustains us day by day and promises His presence and healing according to His perfect will. Even when healing is not instant, we can trust that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and that He will give us grace for each day. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.
We encourage you to continue to steward your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit through rest, good nourishment, and wise care, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God 1 Corinthians 6:19, and to seek medical counsel if these aches persist, trusting that God often works through physicians and wisdom He provides. We also encourage you to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust Him not only for physical health but for the health of your soul.
We noticed your prayer mentioned God but did not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into relationship with God, and it is in His name we pray with confidence.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing touch upon their face and body, ease every ache and pain, restore comfort and strength, and grant continued health and protection throughout their life according to Your will. Grant them peace as they wait on You, and help them to fear not, for You have said Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. Bless them and their loved ones, and bless all those they have prayed for, and draw each of us closer to You through faith in Jesus. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we trust in Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
