We hear your cry and we join with you in prayer over this deep frustration and hurt you have experienced regarding your old gym and the collections placed in your mother's name, and the feeling that your needs and your mother's needs as a senior have not been met. We understand how violated and angry you feel after faithfully paying for two years and then facing what you believe are false charges, and how this has left you feeling traumatized and wanting to withdraw completely from those gyms and even from the city, and we want to bring this before the Lord with you to seek His justice, His peace, and His provision.

We must gently and lovingly rebuke some of what has been spoken in this request because it does not align with God's Word. We are called not to curse or to call down 100 fold judgments or to invoke karma through the blood of Jesus, but to entrust justice to God. The blood of Jesus was shed for our redemption and forgiveness of sins, not as a tool to bring karma or curses upon others. Scripture says, Vengeance is mine, and I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, and also, Don't return evil for evil to anyone. Consider what is good in the sight of all men Romans 12:17. The Lord also teaches us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. The anger you feel is understandable, for God sees injustice, but the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God James 1:20, and we are told, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. Speaking curses over businesses, over the government, or over people, and speaking of energy in this way, keeps our hearts in bondage. We are to watch over our words and our hearts, and to cast our cares on Him, because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7.

We also want to address your reference to Deuteronomy 28:13 which says, Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath; if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. That promise is given in the context of walking in obedience and trust before God, not in cursing others or demanding position over them. God does desire to lift you up and to honor you as His child when you walk with Him in humility and trust.

We also see you mentioned the blood of Jesus, and we are thankful you called upon that name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not fully trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, we encourage you to place your complete faith in Him today, for forgiveness and for eternal life, and for daily access to the Father in prayer.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and their mother to You. Lord, You see the situation with this gym membership and the collections that have been placed on a senior mother's name. You know what is true and what is false, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask for Your perfect justice to be done, and for truth to come to light. We ask that You would give wisdom and favor in resolving any false collections, that You would guide in every practical step of disputing these claims in a lawful and peaceable way, and that You would restore what has been taken unjustly. We pray for provision for every need for this family, for their mother, for their innocent family members and even their pets, for You have promised, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

Lord, we ask that You would heal the trauma and anger and bitterness that has taken root, and that You would replace cursing with blessing, and turmoil with Your peace. Guard their heart and mind, for You have said, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Help them to release vengeance to You, to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to speak words of life rather than curses. Lead them regarding where to live and where to work out, whether in private or elsewhere, and let every decision be guided by Your wisdom and not by fear or anger. Protect this family from evil and let no weapon formed against them prosper, and draw them closer to You each day.

We ask that You would bring comfort to their mother, as a senior who may feel vulnerable and burdened by this, and let her know Your care and protection. We pray that You would soften the hearts of all involved in this financial dispute and bring a just and swift resolution that honors truth. Help Your child to walk as the head and not the tail by walking in obedience, humility, and trust in You, and to enjoy life in the freedom and joy You give.

Wanting to protect your mom, your family and your own peace is a good instinct, and choosing to work out privately for now sounds like a healthy boundary while things settle.

For the collections issue that is weighing on you most, a couple of steady next steps often help when you are ready. If you have your payment records from those two years, keep them together in one place. You and your mom can pull her free credit reports to see exactly what is listed, and dispute anything inaccurate in writing with the credit bureaus and with the gym's billing office. Keep copies of everything you send. If the gym does not correct it, your state consumer protection office or a local legal aid service for seniors can often review it at low or no cost and explain your options.

We are not able to carry the weight of trying to curse others or make judgments happen ourselves, and that burden can keep us tied to the very hurt we want to be free from. We can bring the whole situation to God and ask Him to bring what is true and just to light, and to guard your home with His peace.

Father, we lift this family to You, we ask for clarity and a fair resolution to these collection accounts, for protection and provision for this mother and her loved ones including their pets, and for rest from this trauma. Give wisdom for each next step and quiet this hurt with Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

Much sorrow and vexation breathes through your words, and it is plain you have felt deeply wronged in the matter of these collections and the treatment of your mother, and the trouble that has come upon your household. It is right to bring such burdens before the Lord, for He pities as a father pities his children, and He looks with tender pity upon those who are tried and troubled.

Yet we must not ask the Lord to curse, to bring karma, or to break ground against others, nor to use the blood of Jesus as an instrument of vengeance. The blood of Jesus was not shed to seal a curse, but to provide a ransom. As it is written, He is gracious unto him and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and that ransom is Christ Himself, given in love to save, not to destroy. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay in His own holy and just way, while we are called to seek peace and to commit our cause to Him who judges righteously.

There is a great difference between the punishment awarded by justice and the chastisement appointed by love, and our comfort is that the sentence of justice has been fulfilled upon our Lord for all who trust Him. Deliverance from sin, and indeed all true deliverance, is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He brought His people forth, and He alone can bring you forth out of this distress into a place of peace.

We will not pray for curses upon any gym, nor upon any persons, nor call for swift judgments after the manner you have expressed, for our Lord teaches us not to return evil for evil. There shall be a resurrection both for the just and the unjust, and that truth should make us earnest to seek forgiveness and to grant it, and to be reconciled while there is time. If you have felt wrath burning within, let not the sun go down upon it, but seek that holy Christian forgiveness which reigns where Christ reigns.

The verse you mention, that you shall be the head and not the tail, was spoken to Israel in covenant with God as they walked in obedience, not as a charm to loosen against men, but as a promise to those who hearken to His voice. The true way to know its blessing is to walk humbly with God, to trust His providence, and to declare His works after He has delivered you.

Let us pray for what is good and right to ask. We will pray that the Lord will provide for you and your mother, that any error in these collections may be made plain and justly resolved, that you may have wisdom to deal rightly with those in authority and to seek lawful help where it is needed, that bitterness may not take root in your heart, that your home and your family and even your household pets may know His peace and protection, and that you may find a quiet place of rest for your body and soul, whether you remain where you are or go elsewhere, as He shall guide you. We will pray that you may be delivered not only from outward trouble but from the power of inward sin, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father alone for it.

May the Lord turn your present trial into a song of deliverance. As Deborah sang concerning the overthrow of enemies, so we have a richer theme, for we have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation. If He brings you through this, you shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, and you shall have cause to say, He brought them forth, and to give Him all the glory.

The hurt and anger in your message are clear, and it is understandable to feel overwhelmed when you believe your mother has been wronged, when finances are confused, and when a place that should have been helpful has become a source of distress. It is right to want what is just and to want your mother, who is a senior, to be treated with honor and care, and to want your family and home to be at peace.

At the same time, Scripture calls us to bring our anger and desire for justice to God in a different way than calling down curses. To ask for great judgments and to curse a business, a government, or other people, and to invoke the blood of Jesus as a means of karma, is not how God teaches us to pray. The blood of Jesus was shed for the remission of sins and for our adoption as sons and daughters, not to empower curses. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He has promised a righteous judgment in which He will both crown those who endure with a pure conscience and in His own time and wisdom correct those who do wrong. Our part is to trust that justice rests with Him, to not seek to repay evil ourselves, and to ask Him to cleanse our own hearts first, for from the heart proceed the thoughts that defile us, and blessed are the pure in heart.

God also calls us to pursue what is honest and orderly in practical matters. His word says to owe no one anything except love, and to render what is due. If there are collections in your mother's name that you believe are false, the faithful path is not to curse but to seek a lawful and peaceful resolution. You can gather records showing what was paid for those two years, contact the gym in writing to request a clear accounting, dispute any inaccurate collections in writing with the collection agency and with the credit bureaus, and if needed seek help from a trusted counselor or a consumer protection office. This honors your mother, protects her name, and keeps your own conscience clear before God and before others. It also respects the authorities God has placed for order, even when we feel frustrated with them.

It is understandable that you want to step away from that gym permanently and to work out in private for a time. It is wise to separate yourself from a place that has caused trauma. Yet do not let that decision be rooted in a lasting curse or in hatred that will continue to pierce your own mind. You are free to find a quieter, private way to care for your body, which is a good gift from God, without binding yourself to bitterness toward those places. Likewise, if you consider moving from your city, bring that decision to God not as an escape driven by anger, but as a prayer for wisdom about where you can live in peace and serve Him best.

The verse you mentioned, that you will be the head and not the tail, is a promise tied to walking in obedience and trust before God, not a phrase to loosen as a curse against others. God desires to lift you up as you walk faithfully with Him, with a clean heart and with love for others, even for those you feel have wronged you.
