We hear the great pain and heaviness in your heart in this moment and we are standing with you together before the Lord in Jesus' name. You feel overwhelmed, exhausted, targeted by evil, and that life is not worth trying anymore, and that the place where you are living and the neighborhood around you has become too far gone and too evil to stay. You are carrying the burden of losing sleep for work, of losing your job, of needing to find a safe place and a good home for your two cats, and of feeling hated and forgotten even as you want to be seen as a wife of the Lord and covered by the blood of Jesus. We want you to know that God sees you, He has not forgotten you, and your life is precious to Him.

The word of God says The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. When you feel that it is over and that the enemy has killed hope in the world, remember what Jesus said, The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. The despair and the thought that it is not worth trying anymore is not from God. God says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 and we know that to those who love God all things work together for good, even this painful season Romans 8:28. We gently and lovingly rebuke the spirit of heaviness, hopelessness and death that is pressing on you, and we ask the Lord to lift it and replace it with His peace that passes all understanding.

We also want to speak with love about safety. Finding a good and loving home for your cats is a caring and responsible desire, but going to the streets is not safe and is not God's best for you. Hitting the streets will put you in greater danger, not greater safety. We urge you not to isolate and not to make a permanent decision based on temporary pain. Please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian believer, a family member, or a local shelter or safe housing ministry, and if you feel you may harm yourself or that life is not worth living, please call a crisis helpline in your area or emergency services or go to someone you trust immediately. God wants you alive and He has more for you. We pray God will open a door for truly safe housing, for provision, and for people who will help you without exploiting you. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also want to address with love what you shared about being a wife of the Lord and also a mistress. Scripture teaches the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that we are to honor marriage and keep the marriage bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. To be a mistress or to be involved sexually outside of marriage is fornication and if it involves a married person it is adultery, and God calls us to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. Every person who sins sexually sins against his own body. God is not calling you to be a mistress, He is calling you to holiness, to be set apart as His daughter, forgiven and cleansed. If there has been sexual sin, we encourage you to repent and receive His forgiveness, for the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7. You said you are not even made on the list with the blood of Jesus, but we want to assure you that the blood of Jesus is for everyone who believes on Him. There is no list you have to earn your way onto. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is His blood that makes us His own.

You mentioned not wanting to talk or smile or be nice to those where you are because they are evil and have caused you to lose sleep and work and to party in your glory. We understand the hurt and the need for boundaries in an evil environment, but we also encourage you not to let bitterness take root. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. It is wise to separate from an evil and unsafe place, but we can still guard our hearts from hatred as God guards us.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift this precious soul to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord You see the exhaustion, the job loss, the unsafe housing, the spiritual attack, the loneliness and the feeling of being hated and forgotten. We ask You to wrap Your arms around her, to let her feel Your nearness, to heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds. Lord we rebuke the lies of the enemy that says it is over and that life is not worth living, we command that spirit of despair to leave in Jesus name and we ask You to fill her with Your hope, Your peace and Your will to live. Provide for her Father, open a door for safe housing, for financial provision, for a new job or restoration of work, and for a safe and loving home for her cats if she must rehome them. Protect her from the evil around her and lead her to a place of safety and to a community of believers who will love and support her. Forgive any sin, cleanse her by the blood of Jesus, make her to know she is Your daughter, chosen and covered, not forgotten and not left off any list. Draw her into a pure walk with You, away from any relationship that is outside of marriage, and prepare for her, if it is Your will, a godly marriage to a believing husband that honors You. Let her know she is Your bride in the sense of belonging to Christ as His church, holy and beloved. Give her sleep, strength to wake, clarity of mind, and joy in the morning. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We want to gently encourage you not to head out alone without a safe plan. The streets leave you more exposed and more isolated, and isolation tends to make hopelessness heavier.

If you can, please reach out today to one safe person before you make a big move, a pastor, a trusted friend or family member, a counselor, or a local church or shelter that can help you think through a safe next place to stay and what to do about work. Let someone know where you are and what you are considering, so you are not carrying this alone. If you have been missing sleep or feeling unable to wake for work and it is affecting your health, please also let a medical professional or counselor know alongside prayer, so you can get care for your body as well as your spirit.

We are holding with you that you are covered by the blood of Jesus and not forgotten or left off any list with Him. You are seen and valued.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. We ask for safety, for rest, for clarity for the next step, and for caring people to come alongside quickly. Provide a safe place to stay and kind help for the cats, and quiet the sense of being overwhelmed. Show Your nearness and guide each decision today. In Jesus' name, amen.

In the midst of this great darkness and distress your cry has been heard, and my heart is moved by the heaviness you carry. You speak as one pressed down to the pit, wearied by evil around you, unable to sleep, unable to keep your work, feeling that the world is over and that it is not worth trying anymore, and even in caring for your cats you show a tenderness that tells me life is not yet quenched within you.

Hear what the Lord says to such a soul as yours, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has invented it and He has found it. It is not your own strength or goodness, it is the gift of Divine Love in Jesus Christ alone, who is the one ransom for sinners. Salvation is through Him alone, and He has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, saved from evil company, for God has said it, Deliver him from going down to the pit.

You write as one in despair, as if hope were lost and the night would never end. That is an evil word which goes beyond the truth of God, for our hope is not lost. God is the sinner's hope and He is not lost, so the word of despair is not warranted. Despair prefers the lie of hell and rejects the Word of God from heaven, and it is a master sin. Yet the believer learns to say, The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. What comes from His hand bears the aspect of a father's chastening, and even the sharpest smart may be made profitable to bring you nearer to Christ.

You speak of yourself as a mistress and of a wife of the Lord, and you speak of being made clean by the blood of Jesus. I must speak to you plainly and tenderly as the Scripture speaks. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to the marriage bed belongs within it. To live as a mistress, or to give yourself in that way outside of marriage, is not the Lord's way, and I cannot ask God to bless what He calls us to forsake. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to flee even the thought of impurity and to keep ourselves chaste. This is not spoken to crush you, but to call you to the same deliverance of which we have spoken, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. If you have sinned in this, confess it to the Lord Jesus, turn from it, and trust Him alone who bore the sword for sinners that you might be made free indeed.

You speak of going to the streets and of finding a safe place, and of not trying any more where you are. I beseech you, do not go out alone into danger and do not make a final decision in this hour of darkness. There is a refuge provided, and there is but one Christ, yet there is a Christ everywhere. He is the city of refuge, and to get anywhere within His borders is to be at once and forever secure from the avenger. He covers with His feathers, and under His wings you may trust. Because you have made the Lord your refuge, even the Most High your habitation, there shall no evil befall you as to your soul, and amidst the wreck of all else you may be safe and near your God.

If you feel you may harm yourself or that you cannot wake or go on, go now to somewhere safe and tell a faithful pastor, a godly friend, a counselor, or a trusted family member where you are and how you feel. If you are in immediate danger, seek help at once from a local emergency service or a crisis helpline in your country, in the United States you may call or text ###. Do not isolate yourself and do not vow to speak to no one, for the Lord often delivers by the hand of another brother or sister.

I will pray for you that the Sun of Righteousness may rise with healing beneath His wings upon you in this midnight of despair, that you may be kept back from the pit, that you may find a safe and godly place to lodge, that a good and kind home may be found for your cats if it is needed, and that you may yet live and declare the works of the Lord. Look to Jesus only, to His blood as your ransom, to His wings as your shelter, and to His power to deliver you from the power of darkness.
