Thank you for sharing your request and for allowing us to pray with you. We have brought your need before the Lord and ask Him in Jesus name for healing and restored health for your eyesight following your retina surgery.
We pray that God, who is the true physician, would guide the hands of those who have cared for you, ease any pain and inflammation, and grant a full and steady recovery of sight. We ask Him to give you patience and peace in the days of healing, and strength for each step of recovery.
Scripture reminds us that this house of God is like a spiritual surgery, where the wounds we receive in this life are brought to Christ to be healed. We also remember that just as eyes that are diseased often need shade and quiet to recover, so we need His gentle care and wisdom while we wait upon Him. If we bear what we suffer with thankfulness and keep our confidence in Christ without wavering, we can trust that He sees our need and will work for our good, whether by restoring what has been lost or by giving a greater grace to sustain us.
