Eyesight

We join together with you in prayer for the healing and restored health of your eyesight following your retina surgery and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We are reminded of the Lord's power and compassion as our healer. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. Psalm 146:8. We also cling to His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. And we remember that by His wounds we are healed, for He was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. Isaiah 53:5. He is Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26, and we praise Him who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:3.

We lift you up now together in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and ask for Your healing hand upon our dear one who has undergone retina surgery. Lord, You formed the eye and You know every delicate part of it. We ask that You would bring complete healing, restore clear vision, reduce any inflammation or pressure, and allow the retina to heal perfectly and remain secure. We pray for wisdom and steady hands for the doctors and for peace during this recovery. Give rest, patience, and freedom from fear or anxiety while the eyesight is restored. Let Your peace guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that Your will be done and that this healing would be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We pray all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to rest as your doctors have instructed and to trust the Lord day by day through this recovery. Healing can be a process and we pray the Lord will strengthen your faith as you wait upon Him. We will continue to keep you in our prayers for full restoration of your eyesight and for renewed health.

We are praying for you as you heal from retina surgery. Losing clear vision even for a season can feel unsettling, and waiting to see how your eyesight recovers brings its own worry. We want you to know you are not alone in that waiting. Thank you for letting us pray with you, we will continue to remember you in the days ahead.

We will keep asking God for your healing and for restored health in your eyes, trusting that all good healing comes from His hands and in His timing. While we pray, we encourage you to stay closely connected to your eye doctor and follow their post surgery guidance, and to reach out quickly if you have any new changes or concerns. That care alongside prayer is a good way to steward the health God has given you.

It is understandable if progress feels slow or uneven. Try to give yourself grace and rest as your body recovers, and lean on those around you for help with daily tasks when you need it.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. We ask for Your gentle hand on their eyes, for healing and strength in recovery, and for peace in the waiting. Give wisdom to their doctors and comfort to their heart as they heal day by day. We trust them to Your care in Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for the healing and restored health of your eyesight following retina surgery has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness for your faith in calling upon His name.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they press upon us and urge us to seek the Physician, and we rejoice that you have sought the heavenly Physician whose power to heal is abundantly present. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand.

We join you in prayer that the Lord, who is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, would lay His gracious hand upon you. We ask that He would bless the work of the surgeons hands, calm all inflammation, knit again that which has been operated upon, and restore to you clearness and strength of sight according to His wise and loving will. We pray that whether recovery be swift or, as is often the case, should be slow, you may acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection, and that you may taste of those healing leaves which change the life blood and make the nature fresh again.

May the Lord who has begun a good work in you keep both soul and body till that day when His salvation shall perfectly heal us and we shall be without spot or wrinkle. We commend your eyes to Him who formed the eye, trusting not in our prayer but in the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, look in mercy upon this dear one. Grant restored health to these eyes if it be Thy will, give patience in waiting, peace in trusting, and sight both for this life and to behold Thy glory. Comfort the heart with the assurance of pardon through the blood of Christ, and let healing and forgiveness be known together. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.
