We join you in prayer for the healing and complete restoration of your eyesight following retina surgery and we thank you for coming to us in the name of Jesus.
We know that our Lord is the great healer and that every good gift of sight comes from His hand. We are encouraged by His word that He cares for every part of us. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind Psalm 146:8 and we cling to His promise But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.
We lift you up together before the Father.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for the skill You have given to doctors and for bringing our friend through retina surgery. We ask now for Your healing touch upon these eyes. Lord, restore health and strength to the retina, calm any inflammation or swelling, prevent infection and complications, and bring clear and restored vision according to Your perfect will. Grant patience and peace during this time of recovery and healing, and let Your presence bring comfort and freedom from fear or anxiety. We pray that You would guide every follow up appointment and give wisdom to those providing care. We trust You as our healer and we give You all the glory for the restoration You will bring. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord through this recovery, to rest as instructed and to follow the guidance given for healing, while keeping your eyes upon Him. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and He is able to bind up and restore the wounds of the body as well. Cast all your anxiety upon Him and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We also hold to the truth that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
We are standing with you believing for restored health and clear sight, and we thank God for the work He is already doing in you.

Your request for the healing and restored health of your eyesight following retina surgery has been heard and is brought before the Lord with thanksgiving.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and urge us to seek the Physician, and there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves do not wither, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction.
We pray that the great Physician who took our infirmities would lay His hand upon you. May He who said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and who made pardon and healing to be one, grant you recovery according to His wise and gracious will. We ask that He would strengthen you in the Lord, and that as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger you may acknowledge in each increase of strength a new claim upon your affection and service to Him.
We commit your eyes to His care, asking that He would restore what has been weakened, give skill to those who have tended you, guard you from further affliction, and perfect that healing virtue which His grace infuses till body and soul are without spot. May you know His presence in this trial, and may faith come by hearing His Word as you wait upon Him.
