We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear brother or sister who has undergone retina surgery and is seeking healing and restoration of eyesight. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes and knows every intricate detail of our bodies. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, for nothing is impossible with You.
We declare Your Word over this situation, Lord: "Then Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way. Your faith has made you well.’ Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way." (Mark 10:52 WEB). We believe that by the stripes of Jesus, healing has been provided (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that by His wounds, we are healed. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep in, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray for complete restoration of sight, Lord. Touch these eyes with Your healing hand and remove any inflammation, scarring, or complications from the surgery. Strengthen the retina, restore clarity, and let every cell and nerve in the eyes function as You designed. We ask for wisdom and skill for the doctors and medical team involved, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision and treatment.
Father, we also pray for patience and trust in Your timing. Healing may not always come instantly, but we know that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Help this dear one to rest in Your peace, knowing that You are in control. May their faith grow stronger as they wait on You, and may they experience Your comfort and presence in this season.
We also lift up any spiritual burdens that may be weighing on their heart. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that needs to be confessed, we pray for conviction and repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this time of healing be a time of drawing closer to You, Lord.
We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice on the cross, where You bore our sins and our sicknesses. We claim the victory of the resurrection over this situation, for You are alive and Your power is at work in us. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. Amen.
