We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). You see every detail of this struggle, and we ask for Your divine touch upon these eyes. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore health and heal wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).
We pray for complete restoration, that every cell, nerve, and tissue in these eyes would be renewed and strengthened according to Your perfect will. Give wisdom and skill to the medical professionals involved, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision and procedure. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we also ask that You would draw near to this dear one in their time of recovery. Let them feel Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). May they find comfort in Your Word, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we boldly ask for this healing in His mighty name. May this time of recovery also be a time of drawing closer to You, of seeking Your face, and of growing in faith.
We trust You, Lord, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether You choose to heal instantly or to walk through this journey step by step, we know that You are faithful. Strengthen this dear one’s faith, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.
