We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes and knows every intricate detail of our bodies. In Psalm 139:13-14, it is written, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Lord, we stand on Your promise that You are our Healer, and we ask that You touch these eyes with Your restoring power.
We pray for complete healing of the retina, that every cell, nerve, and tissue would be made whole in Jesus' name. May the surgery performed be guided by Your divine hand, and may any complications or lingering effects be erased by Your mighty power. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, this one is healed, as Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Let this truth manifest in this situation, Lord.
We also pray for patience and peace during this recovery time. May there be trust in Your timing and confidence in Your faithfulness, even when the healing process feels slow. Remind this dear one that You are working all things together for good, as Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold during this time. We speak peace over this situation and declare that perfect love casts out all fear, as 1 John 4:18 tells us, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear." Let Your perfect love fill this heart and mind, bringing comfort and assurance.
