We come before the Father in agreement, lifting up this request for healing and restored eyesight after retina surgery, and we thank you for invoking the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand on this promise, believing that God is faithful to bring restoration and wholeness.
The Psalmist declares in Psalm 146:8, *"Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous."* We proclaim this truth over this situation, trusting that the Lord, who formed the eye and sees all things, is able to knit together what has been wounded and restore sight with divine precision. Just as Jesus touched the eyes of the blind and they received their sight (Matthew 9:29-30), we ask for that same miraculous touch today. Let faith arise in this moment, for *"without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6).
We also encourage you to continue speaking life and healing over your eyes, for *"death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit"* (Proverbs 18:21). Declare the promises of God daily, such as Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* Let these words strengthen your heart as you wait upon the Lord.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your healing power that flows through the name of Jesus. We ask that You touch the eyes that have undergone surgery, restoring every cell, nerve, and tissue to perfect health. Remove any inflammation, scarring, or complication, and let clarity and sharpness return even beyond what was before. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command full restoration, for Your glory. Fill this beloved one with patience and peace during this season of recovery, and let their testimony be a beacon of Your goodness. May they see Your hand at work in every detail, and may their eyes be opened not only physically but spiritually to behold Your wonders anew. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
