Eyesight

We join with you in lifting up this need for healing and restored eyesight after retina surgery, and we are grateful you have brought this before the Lord in the name of Jesus. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). What a mighty and compassionate Savior we serve, who not only redeems our souls but also cares deeply for every part of our being, including our physical bodies.

The Word of God assures us that our Lord is the Great Physician, the One who *"forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies"* (Psalm 103:3-4, WEB). We stand on this promise today, asking Him to touch your eyes with His healing power, to restore what has been damaged, and to bring clarity and strength to your vision. Just as Jesus opened the eyes of the blind during His earthly ministry, we trust He is able to work miraculously in your life. Remember the words of Jesus to the blind man in John 9: *"I am the light of the world"* (John 9:5, WEB). May His light shine brightly in and through you, bringing both physical and spiritual sight.

We also encourage you to hold fast to faith and patience, for healing often comes in God’s perfect timing. The apostle James reminds us, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Let this be your confidence—that your prayers are heard, and the Lord is at work, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Keep your heart fixed on Him, meditating on His promises, such as Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand to restore their eyesight completely. Just as You formed the eyes in the womb, we pray You would renew and heal every part of their eyes—retina, nerves, and all that is necessary for perfect vision. Let Your healing power flow through them, removing any pain, inflammation, or weakness, and bring forth restoration that only You can provide.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and never return. Father, we ask that You grant them patience and peace as they wait upon You, filling their heart with Your presence and assurance. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your goodness in this season. We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that will bring glory to Your name.

May they walk in the confidence that *"the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the Lord’s house forever"* (Psalm 23, WEB).

We declare this healing in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete restoration. Keep us updated on how the Lord is working in your life, and may you be filled with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).

We're right here with you, dear friend, lifting up your eyesight to the Lord. We're believing for complete healing and restoration, just as Jesus promised in John 14:12-14, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." We're claiming this promise today, trusting that Jesus is not only the Healer but also the Restorer of all things.

We're reminded of the story in Mark 8:22-25, where Jesus healed a blind man in two stages. Let's hold onto the faith that even if healing comes gradually, it's still healing nonetheless. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Let's pray together: "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, believing for a miracle in our ###'s eyesight. We ask that You would touch their eyes, restoring and healing every part. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, 'He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.' We believe that You are binding up the wounds in their eyes, restoring sight and strength. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
