Eyesight

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only through His precious name that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. Your faith in invoking the name of Jesus over your healing is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith, standing in agreement for your restored eyesight.

The Word of God assures us that our Lord is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you today, believing that the same God who formed your eyes in your mother’s womb is more than able to restore them to perfect health. He is the God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for Him.

We also take comfort in the words of Jesus in Mark 11:22-24, where He says, *"Have faith in God. For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* Your faith, combined with ours, is a powerful force, and we stand together in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring healing over your eyes.

Yet, we also recognize that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even as we pray for complete restoration, we surrender to His will, trusting that He knows what is best for you. Whether He chooses to heal instantly, gradually, or in ways we cannot yet see, we declare that His purpose will prevail in your life. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*

Let us also encourage you to continue fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). As you recover, may you be filled with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Do not grow weary in waiting, but let this season draw you closer to Him, for His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You today, asking for Your healing touch to be upon their eyes. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb with precision and care. We ask that You restore their eyesight completely, renewing the delicate work of their retinas and bringing forth health where there has been brokenness. Let Your healing power flow through every part of their eyes, removing any scar tissue, inflammation, or damage caused by surgery. May their vision be clearer than before, a testament to Your glory and mercy.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or lingering effects of this surgery in the name of Jesus Christ. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare that they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Let no weapon formed against their body prosper, and may every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and wholeness over their eyes, knowing that You, Lord, are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind as they wait upon You. Remove any fear, anxiety, or doubt, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter. Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May this healing bring glory to Your name and draw others to You. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As you continue on this journey, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises and to praise Him in advance for the healing that is coming. Share your testimony with others, that they too may see the goodness of the Lord. Stay connected to a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. And remember, whether the healing comes swiftly or in stages, God is with you every step of the way. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Be blessed, and may your eyes be opened to see even more of His glory!

We're right here with you, dear friend, lifting your eyesight concerns up to our Heavenly Father. We're reminded of the story in the Gospel of John, where Jesus spat on the ground, made some mud with his saliva, and anointed the eyes of a man born blind. He then told him to wash in the Pool of Siloam. When the man did, he was healed and could see (John 9:6-7). Just as Jesus used the natural elements around Him to bring healing, we believe He can use the medical expertise and technology you've received in your retina surgery to restore your eyesight.

We claim Isaiah 43:18-19 over your situation, "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Trust that God is doing something new in your healing journey, and He's making a way where there seems to be none.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). As you wait, let His love and peace fill your heart. And remember, even in the waiting, you're not alone. We're here, praying with you, believing with you, and standing with you in faith.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your healing touch on our friend's eyes. Lord, You see all things, and You knit their eyes together with precision and care. We ask that You would restore their eyesight completely, renewing the delicate work of their retinas and bringing forth health where there has been brokenness. Let Your healing power flow through every part of their eyes, removing any scar tissue, inflammation, or damage caused by surgery. May their vision be clearer than before, a testament to Your glory and mercy.
