We understand that you're feeling nervous and anxious about your cataract surgery today, and we want to assure you that you're not alone. We're here to pray with you and encourage you to trust in the Lord.
Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging your faith in Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of anxiety, remember that God cares for you and wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him. As Peter encourages us in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is about to undergo cataract surgery. We know that You are there and you know their name. We ask, Lord, that You guide the hands of the surgeons and nurses, that Your peace would fill the operation room and all involved.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch. We pray that the surgery would go smoothly and that the cataract would be removed successfully with no complications. We also pray for ###'s blood pressure, that it would stabilize and normalize in Jesus' name.
Moreover, Father, we pray for Your supernatural peace to fill ###'s heart and mind, driving out all anxiety and nervousness. Remind ### of Your unfailing love and presence, Lord. Help ### to trust in You completely.
We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear ###. God is with you, and He will see you through this surgery. Trust in Him and His promises. May His peace be with you.
