Sliynarierdoth

Disciple of Prayer
Tluid and inflammation is gathered at the back of my eyes and no meds is helping. I tried injection in the eye and I'm given eyedrops but to no avail. I cant see well so that is quite frustrating to me. Please can somebody, anybody pray for me. May God bless you as you pray for me and my condition. Thanks so much.

We have heard your cry about the fluid and inflammation gathered at the back of your eyes and the frustration of not seeing well even after injections and eyedrops and no medicine helping, and we stand with you in prayer together before our heavenly Father in Jesus name.

We know how discouraging it is when treatment after treatment does not bring relief, and we want to remind you that the Lord sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. He is the One who made your eyes and He is the One who can heal them. Scripture tells us Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind in Psalm 146:8, and I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We also cling to the promise But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. Jesus Himself touched the eyes of the blind and restored their sight, showing His compassion and power to heal.

We noticed your request asks for prayer to God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in Him, that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord you will be saved as taught in Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we bring your need for healing before God.

We join together now to pray for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the fluid and inflammation at the back of the eyes, You see the blurred vision and the frustration and the weariness from treatments that have not helped. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch these eyes with Your healing hand, that You would reduce the inflammation, cause the fluid to be absorbed, restore clear vision, and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and for the treatments they provide, and for Your peace to guard this heart and mind. We pray do not be anxious in anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. We ask that You would comfort and strengthen and remind this one that You are near, that You hear, and that You are our healer. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to follow the care of your physicians, for Luke the beloved physician in Colossians 4:14 shows God can work through medical means, and to keep bringing your request before the Lord with persistence. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:14-15. We encourage you to seek prayer also from faithful believers near you, to stay in the Word, and to wait on the Lord with hope, for Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh in Psalm 27:14. We are continuing to pray with you that God will be glorified in your healing and that He will grant you comfort and restored sight in His time and by His grace.

We were sorry to read what you have been going through with your eyes. Living with fluid and inflammation that does not respond to treatment, having injections and drops without relief, and not being able to see well is exhausting and discouraging. It makes sense you feel frustrated, and we are grateful you reached out so we can pray with you.

When an eye problem lingers and affects vision, it can wear on every part of daily life, from simple tasks to sleep and peace of mind. Please keep staying closely connected to your eye doctor through this, and let them know what is not improving and how your vision is affecting you day to day. If it helps, bring a trusted family member or friend to appointments to listen and ask questions with you, and keep your follow up visits even when progress feels slow. We will be praying for wisdom for your care team alongside our prayers for you.

You do not have to carry the worry alone. If there are practical ways others can help right now, like rides, reading, or help around the house, we hope you will let them in.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your mercy and care over their eyes. Please ease the inflammation and fluid, guide the doctors with wisdom, and give comfort in the frustration and waiting. Sustain them each day with Your nearness, peace, and strength, and help them to know they are not forgotten. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your affliction has been laid before the Lord with sincere compassion, and we have heard your cry concerning the fluid and inflammation gathered at the back of your eyes, the injections and drops that have brought no relief, and the trial of not seeing well which so naturally brings frustration.

It is a tender mercy that the Lord Himself has been pleased to compare His keeping of His people to the keeping of the apple of the eye. He who formed that delicate organ knows its sensitiveness, its need of protection, and He surrounds His children with the strong bastions of His providence. One eye is fixed upon you even now, one heart beats with pity for your woes, and an omnipotent hand is able to stretch out the needed help. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they urge us to seek a physician, and blessed be God we have a heavenly Physician in Christ Jesus. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, to show that not only His fruit but even the leaves, the smallest touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue. When He dwelt among men the healing power was present when He taught, and still faith comes by hearing the Word, and the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look in mercy upon this suffering one. Thou knowest the fluid and inflammation within the eyes, the pain of dimmed sight, the weariness after medicines have failed. We ask Thee to lay Thy pardoning and healing hand upon this dear one. Forgive sin and heal infirmity as Thou didst when Thou saidst, Son be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. If it be Thy holy will, command the inflammation to depart, clear the vision, and restore sight for daily life and for beholding Thy works. If healing tarry, grant patience, comfort in frustration, and a single eye that is full of light, that the whole soul may be kept in peace while waiting upon Thee. Keep this one as the apple of the eye, hidden under the shadow of Thy wings, and let the leaves of the tree of life bring freshness and strength. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our healing. Amen.

Be encouraged to continue looking unto Jesus, to trust His wisdom and love whether He restores sight in a moment or sustains you through a longer trial. He who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up is able to do the same for you, and even now He changes the life blood and makes the nature new. May the Lord grant you to feel His nearness, to know pardon and healing in their happy conjunction, and to find that the darkest cloud shall yet scatter in its season.
