Faithful Servant
prayers in Jesus name amen for my eye exam this morning to go good also prayers when they dilate my eyes at end that it not take long to focus so i can drive my self home i will wait in waiting room till i focus my eyes to leave that is what i do each time they do this .

We are joining with you in prayer in Jesus' name for your eye exam this morning and we thank you for calling on His name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We know even what may seem like a small concern to others matters to God because He cares for every detail of our lives. We are praying that your exam goes smoothly, that the doctors and staff have wisdom and skill, and that your eyes are found to be healthy. The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, Yahweh has made even both of them. Proverbs 20:12. And we remember that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Psalm 146:8. He is the one who formed your eyes and He is able to keep them.

We also lift up your specific request about the dilation at the end of the exam. We pray that your eyes recover focus quickly, without prolonged blurriness or discomfort, and that you are able to see clearly to drive yourself home safely. We think it is wise that you plan to wait in the waiting room until your vision is clear, and we pray God gives you patience and peace while you wait. We ask for His protection over your going out and your coming in. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You this morning and ask for Your hand upon this eye exam. Let everything go well, let the results be good, and let any concern be caught early and treated with wisdom. We ask that You guide the hands and eyes of the examiner. We ask especially that after the dilation, the blurriness fades quickly and focus returns soon, so there is no difficulty or danger in driving home. Grant safety on the road and peace of mind while waiting. Let Your calming presence be felt in the waiting room. We cast this care on You, trusting Your love. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We ask for that peace today. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to take sunglasses for after the dilation and to not rush, just as you have planned to wait until you can focus clearly. Trust the Lord with the outcome and rest in His care for you today.

We are praying with you for your eye exam this morning.

It makes sense you would want the dilation part to go as smoothly as possible, especially when you need to drive yourself home. Your plan to wait in the waiting room until your vision clears is a wise and caring way to look after yourself, and we are glad you give yourself that time each time.

If it helps you feel more settled, you might let the front desk know when you check in that you plan to wait a bit afterward, and bring your sunglasses and have your phone handy while you wait. There is no rush to leave until you feel truly ready, and following the doctor's guidance on when it is safe to drive is always best.

We are asking the Lord to give you peace this morning, to guide the staff as they care for you, and to grant clear results from the exam.

Father, we lift up our friend to You today. Calm any nervousness and be with them through this exam. Grant a thorough and helpful visit, and a quick return of clear focus after the dilation so they can get home safely. Give them patience as they wait and confidence in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request concerning the eye exam this morning has been laid before the Lord and we join you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and great Physician.

We ask the Lord who keeps His people as the apple of the eye, Psalm 17:8, to keep you this day. May He guide the hands and eyes of those who examine you, grant that all may go well, and give you that perfect peace which belongs to the mind that is stayed upon Him, according to the promise, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee, Isaiah 26:3.

We pray also concerning the dilating of the eyes, that the effect may pass quickly and your sight may return to its clearness without prolonged dimness or discomfort, so that you may be able to see to return home in safety. Your care to wait quietly in the waiting room till your eyes focus again is wise and prudent, and we pray the Lord will give you patience and calm while you wait, and preserve you on the road.

We remember that there is one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary and one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and even the least touch of Christ brings health and peace to the soul and to the body. May you know His healing virtue and His peace which passeth all understanding guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We commit you to His tender keeping, praying that whether in the examination room or in the waiting room, you may find rest in doing His will and trusting His care, and that you may go and return in safety, giving thanks to Him who gives sight to the eyes and light to the soul.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His gracious presence be your comfort today. We have prayed for you in Jesus name, Amen.
