We are joining with you in prayer for your eye exam around ### today and for your travels there and back, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus.
We are encouraged that you prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.
We pray for the Lord's hand upon your physical body and specifically upon your eyes. He is the one who formed our eyes and who cares for every detail of our health. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down Psalm 146:8. We ask for His mercy and healing touch upon you, for His promise says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also pray Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
We pray for traveling mercies over you today. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8, and He will keep you from all evil and preserve your soul Psalm 121:7. We ask that He guide the hands and give wisdom to the eye doctor and staff who examine you, that the exam would go smoothly, that any concern would be clearly seen, and that you would receive clear answers and good care.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask You to be with them as they travel to and from this eye exam, keep them safe on the road and grant them peace. Be with the doctor, grant wisdom and discernment in the examination, and let the results be accurate and helpful. Touch their eyes and their whole body with Your healing and sustaining power, calm any anxiety, and let them feel Your presence and care. We trust You with the outcome, knowing that You work all things for good for those who love You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
We encourage you to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We are standing with you and trusting God for His protection and for a good report.

It is good you are taking care of your eyes and getting checked. These visits can feel a little stressful, so it helps to go in prepared.
It may help to jot down any changes you have noticed with your vision, any medications you take, and questions you want to ask, and to bring your current glasses or contacts and your ID and insurance information with you. If the doctor plans to dilate your eyes, having someone to drive you home or allowing extra time before driving can make the trip home easier. And of course continue to follow your eye doctor's guidance alongside our prayers.
We are grateful you reached out so we can stand with you, and we are trusting God to be with you every step today.
Father, we lift up our friend to You right now. Be near in the exam room, guide the doctor's hands and eyes, and give clarity about next steps for their health. Keep them safe in travel there and back, and give them Your calm and comfort. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
We have received your request and join with you in prayer for your eye examination at half past two and for your travels.
How gracious is our Lord to care for the body as well as the soul. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, yet we have a heavenly Physician whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His touch still brings virtue to those who come to Him in faith. The Psalmist prayed, Keep me as the apple of the eye, and the Lord has made the eye sensitive for its own protection. So He keeps His people with tender care, watching over them as that precious member which He has so wonderfully formed.
We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may shine upon you with healing in His wings, and that pardon and healing, which are joined together in Christ, may be your portion. May the Lord give skill to the physician's hands and eye, grant you a favorable report, and keep you in safety as you go and as you return. One eye is fixed upon you even in any hour of need, and His omnipotent hand is able to stretch out the needed help.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank Thee that Thou art the great Physician of both body and soul. We bring our friend before Thy throne of grace through Jesus Christ alone, who is the way, the truth and the life. Look upon this eye examination, grant wisdom to those who examine, and grant peace to this heart that trusts in Thee. Keep this one as the apple of Thine eye and hide them under the shadow of Thy wings. Preserve in all travels, let no harm come near, and let all things work for good to those who love Thee. Grant healing according to Thy perfect will, and above all let the spiritual eye be single and full of light to behold Thy mercy in Christ. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Saviour. Amen.

Beloved of All
We join you in prayer today for your eye exam at 2:30 and for your travels, asking the Lord in Jesus name to be with you.
We thank God for His mercies, by which we are kept and healed, and we ask Him to guide the hands and eyes of your doctor, to grant clear sight and wisdom in this examination, and to grant you peace as you go and return. May He guard your physical health and keep you safe on the road, for every good gift comes from His merciful hand.
We also remember that the eye is a precious member of the body which God has made, and Scripture calls us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Part of that is to care for the body He has given while also keeping the eye of the understanding clear, looking not toward what is vain or harmful, but toward what is pure and heavenly, nourished by good hope and a clean conscience before God.
We pray that the Lord would strengthen your sight both outwardly and inwardly, that He would grant you health, protection in travel, and comfort through His presence. We ask this trusting not in our own merit but in the mercies of God through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our healer and our peace. Amen.

Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this need and inviting prayer in the name of Jesus for your eye exam and for your travels.
We are praying with you for the appointment and for the Lord's care over you on the way there and back. Scripture shows that Jesus cares about our physical needs. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, points to Jesus healing those who were brought to Him and connects it to the prophecy in Isaiah that He Himself bore our sicknesses and infirmities. That reminds us that His suffering was not only for the forgiveness of sin but also touches our bodies, which is why we can confidently bring physical needs to Him. When we remember communion, we remember His body broken for us, and we come to Him as our healer and provider according to our need.
At the same time we do not presume to tell God what He must do in every case. The apostle Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh, and the Lord chose not to remove it. There is much about healing that we do not fully understand, and why some are healed in one way and others in another remains in God's wisdom. What we do know is that God does heal, sometimes instantly and sometimes gradually through the ordinary processes He built into our bodies. The skill of doctors and the help of an exam are part of His provision, and any true healing, whether sudden or through natural means, is from Him.
We also remember the prayer that you would prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. There is a real connection between the health of our inner life and our physical well being, and a joyful, trusting heart is good like a medicine. So we pray not only for your eyes but for peace in your heart as you trust Him.
We ask the Lord to guide the doctor's hands and eyes, to give clarity in the exam, and to grant you wisdom for any next steps. We ask Him to keep you safe in travel and to give you a calm and hopeful spirit.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to You. You know the concern about the eyes and the need for travel mercies. You have borne our infirmities and You understand our frame. We ask for Your gracious touch, for clear results and good care through this exam, and for safe travel to and from. Give peace that rests in Your will and a heart that prospers in Your grace. We trust Your goodness and Your perfect wisdom, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
